Great staff and location

Amazing staff, room and location. The views from the room and terrace of the Cathedral are just phenomenal, especially at night. The staff went out of their way to assist us with suggestions and answer questions.

Bedroom was small though old and quaint. Bathroom was too small and poorly appointed. Cistern broke down, toilet seat was loose, shower leaked over the top of the cubicle, only one towel hanger, and nowhere to put toiletries. One step on the staircase up to the roof area was loose and dangerous. Our account was debited by the hotel, not by Wotif as would be expected, and the debit exceeded our booked amount by more than $1000, requiring a lot of time to rectify. The staff were all lovely though

Rooftop pario is a beautiful spot to sit and watch the city from above, it is locatet right across from the cathedral, this property has a lot of character and is absolutely beautiful

This was the most excellent hotel I have ever stayed in. My friend and I (22 and 24 year old women from Canada) chose to spend a bit more on this hotel and it was 100% worth it. It was in the very centre of Toledo, directly next to the Cathedral, in the most beautiful building. Very charming, extremely clean, and the kindest people running it. The hotel itself is full of charm and character that reflects the spirit of the city, and is simply a beautiful building in and of itself. There is also a rooftop patio where we spent the evening watching the sun go down and seeing the Cathedral and Alcazar light up. It simply can't be beat for the location, charm, and wonderful staff who took excellent care of us.

Staff so helpful and friendly. Unique building with rooftop view of city that is gorgeous day and night . Breakfast in cozy area and lovely buffet . Beds very comfy and very clean . Shopping all around . Cathedral entrance 1/2 block away . Very walkable city and so beautiful but not drivable as roads narrow . We could have stayed longer to enjoy all the museums - we missed a few on our list !

Right across from the cathedral. Excellent customer service. Lovely view from rooftop terrace. Lots of ups and downs on the streets but it’s close to everything. Google maps is not always helpful.

Warm and friendly stuff. Felt as visiting family. They really show care for their guess. Authentic old City feel @ the hostel. Unique. Made you feel going back on time but with the confort of air conditioning good warm water for a good shower after a long hot day visiting sites. It has character for sure. A place to remember forever! My husband & I will go back again!

There are no words to describe just how magical this hotel is from the history, ambience and the unbelievable rooftop garden. We stayed in the Cardenal Cisneros room with historic furnishings ( the headboard was an actual work of art) and it was so clean and comfortable! Everything is super close by and walkable- it’s the best location in Toledo, practically touching the main cathedral. Don’t miss the convent Mazapan shop up the street! Alphonso and his colleague are so kind and happily carried our luggage up the stairs, organized the taxi, shared the history of the hotel etc. We will be back and are counting the days until then!

Must stay!

Beautiful antique hotel. Has so much history. You feel like you're back in time. The service is the best we ever had. Staff was friendly, professional, and very hospitable. Gregory, Alfonso, and Angelique were outstanding! They made you feel like home but better ☺️. Breakfast is definitely homemade and delicious. Very clean. I definitely recommend this stay. Right next to the cathedral and close to everything.
