Loved the Cosmopolitan!

We loved this boutique-style hotel. The room was great with a sitting area for watching TV, kitchen, washer/dryer, and stellar views of downtown Toronto. The staff were outstanding meeting every question with a smile and helpful solution. We borrowed the hotel bikes and took the ferry to the Toronto Islands. What a great activity and the views of Toronto from the island are perfect. There are many restaurants within a short walk of the hotel. There’s a little construction going on at the entrance of the hotel so your GPS reroutes you around the block but once you find the hotel the valet parking makes everything simple. This was a great find and we’d be happy to stay again in the future.

Great hidden spot

Good location, although a little tricky to navigate with ongoing construction in the area. The valet parking is very convenient, and high recommended. The rooms are spacious and well appointed. Minor updating is required: the blinds are tricky, and the bathrooms with some flaking paint, and minor mildew. Overall would stay again!

Decent location but construction on street in front. It shows as 4 star hotel on Expedia but I don't see how it deserves the rating, decor & furnishings are 3 star. Full kitchen which we didn’t need, looks like it used to be an apartment. Maid didn't show up until after 2 in afternoon even though we had been out all morning. Paid 4 star price & was disappointed.

Room not cleaned

Room not cleaned properly. Advised after check in but nothing done or offered to rectify the situation. The staff is not trained to provide service as would be expected at such a facility. I found debris, dust everywhere in the room, the coffee machines had not been cleaned. Overall not a good experience. Would not recommend if you’re staying in downtown Toronto there are much better options

I have stayed in the family suite for 5 nights. In terms of cleanliness, the washroom wasn't cleaned regularly. For example, the trash bin in the washroom was only emptied on the 2nd day. Additionally, it seemed to me that the sink , the floor of the washroom and the toilet wasn't cleaned regularly. In terms of the room, I have kept the ac in the lowest temperature with the cool mode but still the room was hot. On my last night, I was sweating due to the temperature.
