Not a resort…

Staff were nice, place was clean, and views were amazing. The finishes are not high end or what I would expect for a resort. Felt more like a nice motel. Grab and go breakfast dropped off on our door was a frozen Jimmy Dean muffin sandwich, an orange, and a kids box of orange/tangerine juice. Maintenance started grating the sand early so don’t plan on a relaxing morning…

I liked the property, they had music for their guests and yoga on the beach. It rained when they had the music and only 1 person joined yoga on the beach. I did like breakfast delivered in a box to my door every morning, However, I would prefer, like, a REAL breakfast? Not some over processed HUGE muffin or Jimmy Dean over processed breakfast sandwich. The orange that was included in the box was sketchy as heck. Concentrated 'blah' orange juice. Just ick. Perhaps better coffee too? Their coffee bar is always open even when you arrive but to me, it was too strong and kinda bitter. But the mattress was comfortable and the room was clean. Btw, if you use a 3rd party to book your reservation, you will get NO HELP from the front desk. Especially if you modified your room after the booking. In my case, Expedia had to make the call to them to get things straightened out. The hotel uses alot of texting to find out how things are with your room and to notify you of special events. Check out was the best. Just leave the keys in the room and let them know youre gone!

Very quiet area right on lake Michigan. Rented a room with the spa and beach walkout and it was perfect. Staff was awesome throughout and checked in on us multiple times. Would for sure stay again.
