Perfect location to stay if you are going to Boreal Mountain Resort. Loved how spacious and clean our room was with two queen size beds and a huge bathroom. Staff were great checking us in and answering our questions. My only issue was the $20 parking... should have been included. Didnt eat at the buffet, so can't review it. Would definitely stay again unless I find a same rated hotel with free parking.

Great customer service. Requests were quickly addressed and completed. It would have been nice if listed wine by the glass options were available as a Cremant I was looking forward to trying had been out of stock for a week. The cab that I substituted it with was very good though.

The staff were friendly at check-in and check-out. The renovations are really nice. The hot tub was nice and hot! The rooms were nicely updated and the bed was really comfortable. My only complaints are the noise coming from the heater. They haven’t updated those and they’re quite loud. Breakfast was included with the rate I booked and was fine, but is definitley not worth the $24 they charge otherwise. It’s very similar to what you’d find at a free breakfast elsewhere. I’d still consider staying again overall.

Great staff! Very kind and friendly and they gave a free drink to my kiddo the first day we arrived. They probably saw our exhaustion from traveling with a kid in the cold weather lol. I appreciate waking up to a hot cup of Nespresso coffee with a nice view

Hotel and room were very unclean. TV did not wor k. Water temperature was lukewarm. For the price we paid, this was not worth it — there are other hotels / lodges in Tahoe, I’d rather just pay a bit more and stay somewhere well maintained. Will not be staying at this property again.

Beautiful facility, staff great, clean. Would have given 5 stars except for the equipment at the lumber yard behind the hotel that starts up at 6:00 am and has loud beeping when backing up. That was terribly annoying and no more sleep once that starts. Suggest giving earplugs to guests who occupy the rear facing rooms.

When we checked in, the right side of the bed was off the frame. I told the front desk and asked for it to be fixed. The initial response was to question whether we caused it, but we were told it would be handled. It never was, and my wife and I ended up fixing it ourselves. The metal frame was too large for the base, so we had to reposition the thin support panels just to make the bed usable. The next day, housekeeping didn’t replace the toilet paper. We asked for a roll after getting back from skiing and were told it would be sent up, but it never arrived. Breakfast, which is a paid service, was disorganized the first morning. The woman running it told us she didn’t know what she was doing and was just filling in. She was nice and clearly trying, but it didn’t feel properly staffed. We stayed on the second floor, and both nights there was a lot of noise from the room above us, along with people running up and down the hallway. There were also groups of drunk guests hanging out in the hallway around 10–11 p.m., sitting against the wall, drinking wine, and talking loudly. I understand it was après-ski, but this activity should have been kept to guest rooms, the lounge, or the bar. For over $500 a night, I expected a higher level of service and better control of common areas. That said, the hotel itself was nice and the location was great. If you stay here, I’d recommend requesting a third-floor room.
