Bookings made up to 60 days before arrival may be cancelled free of charge, though a handling fee of CHF 100.00 will be retained for any cancellation. For cancellations made less than 60 days before arrival, the tenant has the right to propose a replacement tenant, who must be deemed reasonable and solvent by the landlord. The substitute tenant shall enter into the contract under the existing conditions, and both the tenant and the substitute tenant are jointly and severally liable for the rent. The date of receipt of the cancellation notification by the landlord or the booking office is decisive in determining entitlement to the cancellation fee, with Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays deferring to the next working day. In the event of premature termination of the rental, the entire rental fee shall remain owed.
