Host was always kind and quick to reply. Home was clean and accommodated us well. Pull out sofa mattress was not very comfy and some mattresses and shams were stained. Probably time to replace. There were no cookie sheets. Girls wanted to make cookies and oven made a weird noise and never quite baked the cookies. Kitchen can use some cookie sheets and cutting boards otherwise stocked well. Kids enjoyed the heated pool. Good location!

Unlike many vacation homes this home had a great kitchen with great appliances. We all had our own space and a place to gather. We really loved it! The pool was perfect! Make sure you ask for it to be heated, even in Florida pools need that. We got lots of sharks teeth and the kids didn’t want to leave. Thanks for everything.

House was in good condition. Wish it had a few extra utensils in the kitchen like a potato peeler and a few cookie sheets, and wish the garage door had a remote clicker. Wish communication was a bit better, was hard to communicate and explain some questions we had without being able to send photos and one of our questions just got completely ignored, other wise they at least tried to help us with one of the three questions we had during our stay. The leaving instructions in our booklet at the house and the leaving instructions we got over the Vrbo messaging were different which made some things a little confusing (mainly instructions for stripping the beds). You are supposed to be able to recylce with a blue bin and trash for a green bin, but only had 2 green bins.

Peaceful Family Retreat

I've stayed in a lot of VRBO rentals and this was one of my favorites! The layout worked perfectly for our family. The pool was a lifesaver for our kids who were at the rental as we got ready for a wedding!

Overall, this is a fine property. Could use some TLC. Water leaked in the main king room shower, the inside of the drawers and cabinets in the kitchen were dirty, no outlets near the nightstand in the main king room, oven didn't work properly. We had issues with the internet the during our whole stay. Property manager was responsive and eventually resolved the issue. It's a nice little house that could use some care. We would stay again.

Excellent property for a family stay in Venice

This home was perfect for our family's spring break in Venice. Close to the beach, attractions, shopping. The home is great, with numerous bedrooms, lots of closet space and sleeping areas, a great room with huge sectional and a fully stocked, modern kitchen. The pool was perfect for children - not too deep - and the property manager was wonderfully responsive and helpful. We loved our stay!

Away from it all in Venice

We enjoyed our 3 week stay in this quiet neighborhood in the southern part of Venice. Short walk to the preserve and friendly neighbors. As expected during a longer stay, we did have a few issues (smoke alarm needed to be replaced, furnace needed to be reset with the cold temps) but the management company was first class and took care of everything in short order. The patio furniture could be upgraded and I don't think I would pay to heat the pool again (cool during our visit and the heater had a hard time heating the water to a comfortable level). Overall, we were satisified with the property and would consider staying here again in the future.

Everything was exactly as advertised. Host attentive to our needs. Home was extremely accommodating for a family of 8/ every one had there own space. Tastefully decorated. Pool was wonderful. Location perfect: close to everything we needed, but neighborhood peaceful. Would definitely return.
