Cozy & quiet

A fully renovated location, with all the necessary amenities. You can walk everywhere from here and the connections to/from the airport and quite ok. The host was extremely supportive and responsive. Over all, we fully enjoyed our stay and we recommend Good Wine Apts

Home Away From Home!

Our stay at Good Wine was amazing! Giacomo was great in keeping communication with me prior to arrival. He was very accommodating. The apartment was huge and comfortable. It was a nice quiet location but a couple of minutes from all the action. It was like our home away from home. I’d can’t recommend staying here enough!

The gentleman Jocko (spelling? Was beyond helpful and communicative. He met us at boat taxi and guided us to our apartment He helped us secure a porter to carry our bags to get a taxi. WORTH every penny. Apartment was lovely

Very clean and spacious. Very quiet, away from crowded noise but walkable in all important places to visit and dining. Easy to communicate with owner. This was the last leg of our trip and the owner made everything easy for us.

The property was nicely furnished and the host communicated well for check in and our needs on and after arrival. However, the stay was RUINED by the presence of numerous bugs and insects. I must have killed at least 20 while spending 4 nights there. A few mosquitos here and there is to be expected in May in Venice, but we had a bunch of small insects pop out from the walls and floorboards. On our second night I killed an insect (not sure what) that was two inches long. It was scurrying around the kitchen floor. After that night we enjoyed the day in Venice but dreaded coming back to the apartment for fear of finding another such creature greeting us when we got back in the evening. I definitely will not be returning in the future.

Beautiful apartment, everything we needed. Location superb as away from all the hustle and bustle but close enough to local amenities. Having the terrace was a bonus. Guilia explained everything to us on our arrival and we will definitely book again next year.

Great potential, not yet fulfilled

First, the best things: the apartment is spacious and clean, the area is lovely and the wifi excellent. But finding the place was impossible. It showed up on GPS, but the door was not marked in any way. We had walked 20 mins from the station, it was a hot day and we had suitcases. Finally we called the number we had and were told that Giulia would come and meet us. This she did, but why could we not have been given proper directions? The shower was very small, and nowhere to put our toiletries anywhere in the bathroom, everything had to go on the floor. There was no spare toilet roll and the towels were small and flimsy. There are no laundry facilities, no iron, nowhere to hang wet clothes we were there for four nights. The kitchen had no bread knife - or any large knife at all, no butter dish, and what cutlery there was, was falling apart. The apartment has the potential to be really good, but some attention to detail is needed. We suggest the owners spend a night there themselves, when they have had that experience, they will know what we mean.

The house has good conditions and is well located in the center of Venezia. However, there are two very unfortunate points. On the one hand, the house not clean, with dust in many places. Moreover, we were asked a different amount of money for the touristic tax from the one indicated in the email from Hotels.com A really unfortunate situation.
