Host was an excellent communicator and the flat was quite clean, attractive, and near most major attractions. Rialto Bridge is a short walk away and Santa Lucia station is about a 12-15 minute walk. We found it a great location and lovely flat for exploring Venice.

Très bon emplacement

Au niveau séjour tout c’est très bien passé, la location est très bien situé, les lieux à visiter sont relativement proches ( 15 bonnes minutes de marche) on nous a demandé la taxe de séjour en espèces et une demande pour le ménage qui n’était pas prévu sachant que nous avions déjà réglé la prestation. Sinon je recommande cette location sans aucun doute.

Very comfortable and private flat

We loved it here with 2 separate bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The bed and sofa bed were so comfortable that we slept very well! The kitchen had everything we needed, and we used the washing machine. Our clothes dried quickly overnight under a ceiling fan on the provided drying rack. Some boat noise in the mornings but it added to the charm. Great host answered all our questions. Took the water taxi to train station on our way out. Very convenient with luggage, and half the cost of an airport taxi.

Perfect Venetian experience

The apartment exceeded our expectations in terms of its spaciousness, location and charm. Away from the crowds of San Marco, this building was nonetheless and easy walk to all you would want to see and do, and moments from the most charming restaurants, shops, museums, and it really is right on the canal. Rita was an exceptional host, providing detailed instructions and assistance. I wish we could have stayed longer, and I would absolutely return to this property.

Spacious Apartment in the Heart of Venice

My sister and I stayed in this apartment for a week. The 2 bedrooms and 2 baths gave each of us privacy and space to spread out. We cooked several meals in the kitchen and found all pots /pans/etc. we needed. Be aware the coffee maker is a stovetop espresso pot, something my sister had not used before but learned ! Watching traffic and light on the canal was fascinating , but did come with some noise- which did not bother us. The washer kept our clothes to carryon suitcases. Pictures are very accurate.The apartment sits on a waterfont campo- we were able to take a water taxi directly there to and from the airport , which was a great splurge. The owner communicated very clearly and quickly. The place feels like a family living space, not a tourist apartment , which was appealing to us.Location can't be beat - a less than 15 minute walk to the Rialto Bridge, and close to the San Toma vaporetto stop. We also used the traghetto from San Toma, which was a fun experience! You are close to many of the popular attractions, so there are always tourists until you turn off of Campo San Polo.All in all , I feel this place is an excellent choice for a stay in Venice, and a terrific value.

Die Lage ist zwar sehr gut aber die Wohnung war kalt Die Heizkörper waren immer an aber lauwarm . Es hat nicht gereicht die Wohnung warm zu bekommen .es war morgen um 7: Uhr sehr laut , da gegebüber eine Baustelle war. Davon wussten wir nicht. Dann sind diese persönliche Bilder bzw. photos von dem Besitzer oder dem Eigentümer , die überall in der Wohnung rumhängen. Der Fernseher hat auch nicht funktioniert. Eigen

Nice apartment and view, very noisy

The apartment looked just like the pictures and was very spacious. The view from the bedroom and the living room onto the canal was beautiful however we struggled with the noise. We are deep sleepers and visiting from New York so we are used to living in noisy places with the sound of cars, ambulances, people talking, etc., but we found this to be exceptionally loud. I'm not sure if it's because we visited during the off-season so there was more construction than usual but the sound of the boats moving equipment, picking up trash, and driving by in the middle of the night and early morning made it practically impossible to sleep through the night. I understand that staying on a canal (especially off the Grand Canal) comes with some noise but we were surprised by just how loud it was. That said, the apartment was in a nice area and we enjoyed everything, just not the noise. Rita was also lovely and very communicative.

Fantastic location, apartment and host

We had a great time during our stay between Christmas and New Years. Great, quiet neighborhood, which is what we were looking for. Easy to access all parts of Venice with a short walk/vaporetto ride. Rita was fantastic and helpful.

Great apartment in San Polo

The apartment is quite central, while being off the beaten track and overlooking a canal. It had interesting decor and offered all we could have wanted. The host provided clear communications for accessing the apartment. It could be a bit noisy in the mornings with garbage collection and delivery boats but it was interesting to see how life operated in Venice. We would happily recommend the apartment for people seeking an interesting yet quite central place to stay in Venice.

Homey apartment in great location

I had a wonderful stay at Rita's apartment in San Polo! From the start, Rita proved to be an excellent host, providing us with plenty of helpful information about the apartment and the neighborhood before our arrival, which made planning so much easier. The location close to the Canal Grande is unbeatable. The apartment itself is spacious and has a charming, vintage feel with its decor and overall style. While some of the facilities are a bit older and the place shows its age, I personally found it added to the cozy, lived-in atmosphere. With its many books and personal photos, it felt like staying at a friend’s or family member’s home! The space is large enough for a family, but it was also perfect for my Biennale visit with a colleague. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend Rita's apartment!

Nice contact to the host, good organization. Unfortunately the apartment was very dusty ( old books...) - not recommanded for allergists ( Hausstauballergiker). The mattless of the second bed was saggy. The pans should be renewed. I like the art on the walls.

The property was lovely and spacious and Rita was an excellent hostess. The apartment is conveniently located, within walking distance of all Venice has to offer. I’d definitely stay here again on another trip to the floating city.

Schöne Lage, viel Platz zum Wohnen in Einrichtung mit Patina

Etwas schwierig zu finden, aber von Rita mit Bildern zum Weg sehr gut erklärt. Das Apartment ist in der Einrichtung alt und voller Bilder, Bücher und Gegenständen, die wohl von den vorherigen Bewohnern stammen. Das Bett im 2. Schlafzimmer ist lediglich eine in die Jahre gekommene Schlafcouch. Das große Badezimmer ist veraltet, aber es gibt ein modernisiertes und gutes 2. Badezimmer. Die 3 Klimaanlagen funktionieren gut. Die Lage am Canal ist schön, aber die täglichen Müllschiffe machen in den Morgenstunden gegen 8 Uhr und dann für 1 Stunde schon Krach. Das Umfeld ist wirklich schön und alles ist gut erreichbar.

Great visit

Host was very attentive prior to and during stay. Apartment has great access to Grand Canal and is short walk from Rialto Bridge and St Marc’s square. Lots of restaurants nearby. Spacious clean apartment with all amenities.

Noisy in the morning

The neighborhood of this residence is mostly peaceful, except for first thing in the morning when the Barge to collect garbage and delivery boats arrive starting at 6 AM. We arrived at 10 PM and discovered the next morning that the noise outside was not motorcycles, but multiple boats driving by making deliveries and picking up trash. Aside from the morning noise, this place was lovely.

Incredible view of the canal! Quaint, spacious home which had everything we needed! 2 rooms with AC, beautiful kitchen, living room, books galore and in walking distance to so many incredible things!! My family of 4 (with 2 older teens) absolutely loved it!
