Hotel is fine for a low price. Location was good for boat excursions and near beaches. Bed was not great. Some people hanging around in back parking lot— didn’t bother us but made us. Little uneasy.

Second time staying at this motel, it’s overall pretty clean and quiet. The State beach is a quick walk and there are restaurants nearby as well. Will continue to stay here

Bed pillows were so uncomfortable. Like they were just lumpy old pillows. The bed comforter was basically a sheet. The main door and bathroom door were put on improperly. Very disappointed.

Shady people hanging around lots of hookers dressed to get your attention. A McDonald's next door and a 7 Eleven across the streets. Near the 101 very convenient for travelings .

Not recommended for solo female travelers

This motel is suitable for a short stay if you need a place to sleep for the night. However, the atmosphere isn’t hospitable or safe, especially for solo female travelers. The clientele is largely construction workers passing through town and long-term misplaced people, meaning that vagrancy and partying are prevalent after dark. I was approached by unseemly occupants on 3 occasions, especially after dark. Be warned that rooms far from the front office don’t receive any WiFi signal. They offered me a discount for the lack of WiFi. I had to be persistent with the front office in order to be moved to a room with WiFi signal. The rooms are surprisingly spacious and nice, but the floors aren’t mopped regularly. You will need to independently find almost $8 in quarters in order to do one load of on-site laundry.
