We overall really liked the place. Quick walk to grocery store. Bus stop to Chateau Versailles was 200m away. Train to Paris was 600m away. The concerns were we needed better guidance. Arriving outside a locked gate and not knowing if we were at the right place was a bad start. Apparently there was some issue with whom we needed to coordinate. Then the place still needed to be cleaned (already passed check-in time) So it got a quick clean - not a polished clean. (EG my nice black dress got exceedingly dusty hanging it up. All hangers had to be dusted by me) But even though I’ve said these concerns - the place was nice. And it wasn’t “dirty “ - I just wish it was dusted! Overall they’d get 10/10 if they gave us explicit arrival directions; directions for operating the induction cook top; and extra toilet paper. ( I feared we’d run out - we didn’t but extra there would be nice. We aren’t going to take it home with us so leave extra out). Another plus - we were given free bottle of wine! So overall very nice. We’d stay there again.

Kleines Apartment mit guter Lage in Versailles

Die Ferienwohnung befindet sich im rückwärtigen Bereich einer neu gebauten Wohnanlage mit Blick auf eine Schule/ Vorschule. Uns hat die Schulglocke und der Blick auf den Schulhof nicht gestört. Insgesamt ist das äußerlich Ensemble der Wohnbebauung sehr ansprechend. Die Inneneinrichtung ist modern und für uns als Familie mit einer 2 Tage Übernachtung war fast alles vorhanden. Gefehlt hat eine Kaffeemaschine und da wir wohl die ersten Gäste waren und nur mit 2 Tagen Vorlauf gebucht haben, war auch noch nicht alles perfekt. Es standen noch Küchenmöbel auf der Loggia, dadurch konnten wir die an sich schöne Loggia nicht wirklich genießen. Der Geschirrspüler ließ sich nicht vollständig öffnen, da in der unteren Blende ein Ausschnitt fehlte. Unterhalb des Bettkasten befanden sich noch private Sachen des Vermieters. Wenn diese Dinge noch abgestellt werden, ist die Ferienwohnung gut für einen kurzen Versailles Aufenthalt zu empfehlen. Es gibt in nur 2 Gehminuten Entfernung einen kleinen Supermarkt, in ca. 7 Gehminuten gelangt man zu einer guten Bäckerei. In die Innenstadt und zum Schloss braucht man etwa 25 Gehminuten. Es gibt keinen privaten Parkplatz, man kann in der Straße vor der Wohnbebauung parken. Wir hatten Glück und abends noch einen Parkplatz finden können.
