The Leo Grand is such a beautiful hotel. Fabulous central hotel, opposite St Stephens cathedral, but lovely and quiet. The staff were attentive. Rooms reallyvpretty and clean.

Lovely stay at striking and spotless hotel. All reception staff were extremely pleasant and very helpful. Bedroom and bathroom were very well maintained and well stocked, including a generous complimentary mini bar. Breakfast choices seemed limited (plenty of egg dishes!) but the staff seemed happy to accommodate most requests for alternatives if not appearing on the menu as desired. Hard to fault anything and the location couldn’t have been more convenient to local cultural attractions and main shopping areas. Would absolutely recommend The Leo Grand and would be more than happy to return

Amenities were severely lacking, there was barely anything luxurious to it. Service was also lacking and very inconsistent. Not sure why this is advertised as 5 star luxury. It’s not luxury and barely stretching 4 stars. So this felt like a scam, given the price tag. The rooms had hairs here and there in the bed and bathroom, not what I would classify as clean. We paid for the breakfast rate which was severely overpriced and food was decent, but here again the service was inconsistent and the food we got was not what we ordered in more than one occasion. It’s a la carte, it’s very expensive to begin with. Charging 5 euro some slices of avocado, 7 euro for felt like an instant hot chocolate. But the most expensive items combined are still cheaper than the breakfast rate. Probably the breakfast rate would allow you to order as much as you want but realistically you won’t eat enough to cover it. I don’t recommend paying for the rate and just go a la carte if you want breakfast. If you are planning to do any work from here, be aware that the Internet is not the advertised 100mbps+, I was doing 5mbps consistently. This was probably throttled on purpose. Quite a surprise to stream video in low quality in 2025. In the topic of streaming, the TV is a basic smart tv with no capabilities for casting, so you could login in the few available apps if you wished. Also the TV is stuck in a frame, so you can dream about using HDMI if you bring your own media stick.

Great breakfast options - definitely worth booking as inclusive rather than buying individual items in the breakfast room. A lovely hotel in the classic style of old Vienna…. and so conveniently located in the centre of the inner stadt.

The hotel is charming and Stefanie was very friendly and helpful at check-in. We had breakfast there for 3 days. The food is fine, but the service is hit and miss. We were brought the wrong order on 2 mornings. Our plates were taken when we were still eating and we had to ask for bread and water. We felt invisible. Our room wasn't cleaned on the second day. We were gone all day from 10-3:30, so they had plenty of time to clean it. I called the front desk to tell them and there was no apology. They offered to clean it, but we were too tired, so I asked for fresh towels and 2 water bottles. We received everything from housekeeping and then another staff member came to our room and apologised and volunteered that they purposely did not clean our room because management says there is not enough money in the budget to clean all of the rooms. That is shocking! We paid good money to stay there and that is unacceptable. We won't be back.

I was a bit disappointed with my room especially since the hotel is considered one of the top hotels in Vienna. I'm not a huge TV watcher, but to put the television behind the bed wall. I also don't know why you wouldn't put a bedsheet between the blanket and bed. I'm pretty sure the blanket is not washed after every person. It's a bit unhygienic.

Very avant garde Austrian. Balcony rooms do not have accessible balconies or overlook the exterior. Rooms are spacious and beautiful. Staff is typical Austrian. Polite, professional, but unwavering in certain areas such as expediting room clean up. Would I recommend it, yes. Would I go again, maybe but I'd try another if something was similar in price.

This is the quirkiest, campiest most charming little hotel housed in a beautiful refurbished building that is four times older than America. The staff, which is made up of young folks is delightful and attentive. From the second I walked in I was greeted, offered a seat and a drink until they got to check me in. My room was cozy and the decor is delightfully OTT and bursting with color and fun. The mini fridge is stocked with complimentary drinks. Lovely coffee, tea and potato chips.. YES chips.. I am a Leo fan! I will most definitely be back what a wonderful experience.
