Villa Lavanda, 10 km from Porec

The modern Villa Lavanda, which can be rented for the first time in 2019, is located 10 km from Porec in Visnjan-Kocici. The fantastic view from the house to the sea is unobstructed and only covered with vineyards and olive groves. Horses graze below the house.
The famous lavender fields, which radiate an incredible amount of tranquility, are only about 5 minutes' walk away.
You can start hiking and cycling trips right in front of the house.
A paradise for bike freaks.
Kocici is a very small, quiet village 2 km from Visnjan.
In Visnjan there are restaurants, butchers, 2 supermarkets, bakery, pharmacy, bank ect.
Every last Thursday of the month there is a large market in the pine forests.

The heated infinity pool is 7m long and 4m wide with a view to the sea.
Parasols, sun beds with cushions and bath towels abundant.
The sunsets are indescribably beautiful and romantic.
There is an outdoor shower, a large covered terrace with a large dining table and garden furniture and an outdoor kitchen where you can prepare delicious grilled dishes.
The whole house is air-conditioned and very tastefully and discreetly furnished.

On the ground floor there is a large fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher and large fridge with ice dispenser, dining room and living room with a fireplace and TV. The large glass fronts make the living area very bright and friendly.
A bedroom with bathroom is also in the lower area.
There is also a guest toilet.
Upstairs there are 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms with an open shower and 1 bathroom with a bathtub.
There is a TV with satellite reception in all bedrooms.
Cot and high chair are available.
All 3 bedrooms have a balcony.
The whole house has underfloor heating.

Istria is also known for its excellent truffles. The most promising area to come across the valuable tuber lies between the four places Buzet, Lupoglav, Pazin and Motovun.
The best time to enjoy this specialty on the spot is in the autumn months, because from September the harvest time for the white truffle begins. At this time, gourmets can enjoy delicious dishes at the truffle festivals that take place in Livade, Buzet and Motovun.
You will come back from your vacation completely relaxed.

Great stay at Villa Lavanda

We had a 1 week family stay at this villa and had a fantastic time. We have had many villa holidays and we all agreed that Villa Lavanda was a really good home to have for the week. The villa is both comfortable and well located and the owner (Evelyne) is great to deal with. We would recommend the villa as a great place to stay for a holiday in Istria and were only sad that we did not have more time there.
