Oct 28th, checked in, temp in suite set at 90, heat overwhelming. Front desk, “sorry” that’s all. Didn’t offer another room. Hours to cool down on full a/c and window open.Ruined sleep as room remained hot most of night. Bed not on frame properly. piece of metal was hanging out where I banged and bruised my leg. They adjusted the bed on frame next day. Pillows were squashed in small pillow cases. when expanded, flat, old and worn.
Oct 29. key card doesn’t work, get replacement. Tried to make coffee, parts missing, asked for replacement. towels had holes, others were thread bare. The bathroom door had a hole plus door jam is cracked as well. Drain plug in tub missing and no bar soap for a bath. Staff removed used cups, but not replaced.
Oct30. key card does not work, replaced again. There is no dish soap, cloth, or towel for used dishes in kitchenette.
Oct 31. Key card does not work once again. Our room was on 2nd floor over vlt lounge door. At 1:30am a loud argument erupts outside lounge door. Went on a long time as No one stopped it. Who needs sleep anyway.
Nov1. Every day our room cleaned inconsistently. Same hot breakfast everyday, sausages, hash browns and rolled omelette. Same hot/cold cereals, fruit salad of just apples in a bowl of ice cubes resulting in picking out ice. Hotel stay was pathetic.
I don’t see booking with your chain in the future if this is how you manage your properties and I certainly will not stay at this hotel in Winnipeg ever again.
