Area is a little sketchy with people looking for cigarette buts by the smoking areas. As with most hotels, couch/hidabed was old/dirty/warn. And with springs you could feel. We tend to use the hidabed because one of us snores, and the other can sleep in the separate bedroom of the suit.

Near check in front desk around 4:30 pm was a nearly full lottery/gaming room with an intoxicated person roaming around. His ID was asked for. He didn't have any. He was told he could continue playing the slot machines if he was quiet. Their website said they had a restaurant in hotel. They didn't. Rough neighborhood. I felt uncomfortable walking to find a place to eat. Took the stairs down from my room for exercise and the outside door was propped open with a crow bar. Building insecure. One standing lamp in room had a broken on/off switch and was unplugged. Bathroom clean, but could really use update with chipped tile and black spots on sealant around tub. Not much water pressure, but plenty of hot water at 4:30 am.(I had an early flight from nearby airport.) Taxi did come quickly and I was given a voucher by front desk to pay for it.

I got accidentally injured at the hotel pool and subsequent to returning from the hospital the hotel manager and staff didnt have the courtesy to check up on me nor offer to help my son and i take our bags from our room to our vehicle while i was in a wheelchair. I felt so powerless and my experience was overall terrible.

The staff was pleasant & continental breakfast was hot & delicious. The bathroom in our room was clean!!!!! There was however, a dirty face cloth left on the counter that had been used to wipe off make up. Considering my wife does not wear make up, we knew we had not used it. Our room had not been vacuumed nor the tile floor washed. There was food, lint & dirt on the carpet. The tile floor was sticky by the kitchenette. We tried contacting the front desk via messaging that option no longer was available or working. We went to the front desk asking for our room to be vacuumed. Housekeeping was not in until 9am the next day. The next day no one showed, Housekeeping was on our floor so we asked if our room could be vacuumed. Due to communication barriers it did not happen. We wore our shoes in the room due to the unclean floors. The kitchenette had no garbage can under the sink. As well as no dish soap, dish cloth or drying towel for us to use. There were no pamphlets letting us know options for dining/entertainment options. The whirlpool/pool area was not clean. The whirlpool had a "ring" around the perimeter and was quite dirty. We mentioned this to the evening staff.

Friendly staff, clean room and facilities, good breakfast, and fun pool with water slide. The only downside was the kids hockey players and their families that were also staying there, taking over the pool or playing hockey in the hallways or the parents partying in the hallway right outside our door. They did quiet down after we spoke to them so we were able to get to sleep.
