The slopes are less than a kilometre away, as are the scenic hiking trails that wind through the landscape. Even the village centre is under a kilometre away, allowing you to reach local shops, cafés, and restaurants with a short stroll.

The master bedroom features a double bed and its own en‑suite bathroom equipped with a shower and sink. The second bedroom offers a cozy bunk bed, ideal for children or additional guests. A second, larger bathroom includes a sink, toilet, shower, and bathtub, giving you the option to unwind after an active day.
The bright living room is furnished with a comfortable sofa bed and a flat‑screen TV, perfect for relaxing evenings. You’ll also find WiFi and a radio for added comfort and entertainment.
The fully equipped kitchen makes cooking together easy and enjoyable. It includes a microwave, oven, toaster, dishwasher, refrigerator, and a coffee filter machine—everything you need to prepare meals just the way you like them. Practical extras such as a washing machine, hairdryer, and vacuum cleaner are also provided.

The village of Neuastenberg, located just a few kilometers from Winterberg, offers a delightful blend of tranquility and activity. In the village, you’ll find several cozy restaurants as well as convenient ski rentals, making it easy to enjoy everything the area has to offer.
One of the highlights is the Ski Resort Postwiese, a peaceful and sun‑drenched ski area that is especially popular with families. With a total of 8 kilometers of slopes, the resort is manageable, friendly, and perfect for both beginners and children. On select evenings each week, the illuminated slopes create a magical atmosphere for night skiing. You can also enjoy tobogganing on the natural run, or try cross-country skiing on the many groomed trails that wind through the winter landscape.
If you wish to explore further, the ski bus conveniently connects you to the larger ski areas nearby.
In summer, Neuastenberg transforms into a paradise for hikers and cyclists. The village lies close to the renowned Rothaarsteig, a long-distance hiking trail that leads over the Kahler Asten, offering breathtaking views. You can also enjoy the Winterberger Hochtour, a scenic trail that takes you through the mountain world of Winterberg. Mountain bikers find plenty of long, varied routes with different levels of difficulty, ensuring exciting rides for every skill level.
