It was a great place to stay in Zurich with a nice view of the river. Everything we needed or wanted to do was a quick walk so we did a fun walking tour of the city. Check in and check out were quite easy. I was tickled my the “shower in the bedroom”.

I really didn’t like the self check in. Front desk staff was there so I’m not sure why I had to do it. They were very nice. The room was so small that I felt like I was in a camper/RV. There was no room to even open my suitcase. The bathroom and shower had no privacy since the door was just glass and the room was so small. It was clean. I will not stay here again or suggest it to my friends and family.

Overall nice location, friendly staff, but very small rooms. No coffee maker/kettle for hot water. No bottle opener. Just one set of pillows and one towel. Adding these hardly adds up to costs but significantly improves guest comfort. Not ok for families, only solo travellers. Not even couples.

Ruby Mimi is located very centrally however the hotel is practically self service, no frills, no services, no bellman, terrible air conditioning and uncomfortable accommodations.
Our a/c while outside temps felt close to 96 degrees.

I enjoyed Ruby Mimi very much. The location is absolutely perfect. Check in and check out a breeze. People are extremely kind and helpful. The place is beautiful. The bar downstairs was great as well. I’d recommend you include breakfast when making a reservation and to fill out the forms in advance to make things easier.
