Crap food

The breakfast is one of the worst II have ever had.It said it was Cumberland sausage it may have be driven through Cumbria.On the m6 and crapt on the m6 on the way The coffee was like dishwater The best things about the hotel was the Bakery across the road

Well wasn’t impressed because we had a £50.00 voucher to use but they refused to take it and told us to get in touch with you direct so ended up having to pay full price. The hotel is fine but hardly any sleep because being on the street it was very noisy.

Disappointed with this Hotel

Disappointed with this stay. Had asked for a parking space before arrival & assured I would get one. Car park very small & full. Person on desk at arrival was quite rude & lacked customer service. Made a situation more stressful than it needed to be after a long day. Room averaged& not what’s expected of Holiday Inn Express. One good member of staff Rachel redeemed my faith in the hotel.

Reception were not the friendliest, quite brisk in manner. Noise of the street was terrible, we heard a 3 hour conversation from 2:30am word for word. Also just down from a nightclub so be wary if you’re given a “street side” room. Mattress had us meeting in the middle it was so soft. Sofa bed in room had seen better days and needed replaced. Shout out to Thapa who managed a busy breakfast service getting tables sorted out very quickly for guests. All done with a friendly engaging manner and a ready smile - something the reception staff could learn. Parking is at the nearest multistory if you haven’t booked to park at hotel. On street parking is limited to an hour.
