Checked in at 2100 with Dee who was nice, didn’t took too long i received my keys and went to the room. Nice specious very classic design.
Bathroom needs renovation and better cleaning with dusty corners and filthy towels! After one hour in the room i figured out there is an issue and the ac is not cooling and it is too late and i have very early morning meeting. I called reception and it took exactly 3:15 min to answer ☹️ i requested them to check the ac and they requested an engineer who took more than 20 min to reach and told me the temperature in the room seems ok!! Yes maybe if you like to sleep in 27 degrees 😒 then he started working out the physical ac. Then he said finaly now it is 22!!! Sir i need the room to be 18-19 degrees to sleep it became 23:00 !!! He said i will check with my supervisor and get back to you ( ohh my god first time in uae to face such a silly issue in what claimed to be 5 stars hotel) AC is the main element in any room in here! After another 15 min i had to call the reception and highlight my high dissatisfaction that i specifically checked to the hotel to get good sleep before my morning appointment and it is yet mid night and still waiting for them to sort the issue finally they admitted that the AC is broken and offer me to change the mirror room. Another 20 minutes gentlemen came and take me to the new room, which was unfortunately smoking, but at least with a working AC and all what I needed is in a good temperature so I can’t sleep..
