Laundry issues

Laundry was and interesting experience. For one washer you needed to insert your credit card the other you could tap. The dryers were even more confusing. When told to insert my credit card it, said processing for several minutes, then said to swipe my chip card. But neither inserting order swiping as instructed worked. Finally the desk clerk helped me download the app, which worked. I chose Hampton because of the location and amenities but the laundry difficulties have made this location very undesirable . Probably will not be staying here in the future. Did not have these issues with past stays. Thank goodness for the desk clerk who was very helpful.

We had a spacious room , the thermostat goes to 60 which for me is a huge plus . I like it cold , most hotels do not go under 65 .

Handicapped room

This is the second time for my stay requesting a handicapped assessory room. I will not stay here again as their handicapoed room does not meet standards. A bathtub with one hand bar, low toilet, slippery tile floor in bathroom. No safety rail for toilet. When asked to be moved to a more helpful room for my disabilities, no room was available. This was my last stay at the Streetsboro Hampton Inn

Just about perfect. Well maintained, clean, great staff and a great breakfast team! What was missing? No USB ports in the rooms to charge devices (though you can use the USB ports on the TV). Will definitely stay again.

Uncomfortable Beds

We always stay at Hilton owned or Marriott owned hotels when we travel because they reliably have the most comfortable beds. We booked this room with two queen beds because no kings were available. The beds were smaller than queens and the mattresses were so hard we may as well have slept on the floor, because the mattresses felt about the same. The hotel was very clean, the staff was very friendly and did try to get us into another room but also stated all the beds would be exactly the same comfort wise, so we opted to keep what we had to avoid packing up and moving.
