We had a lovely stay in Altea, Leticia was so helpful and welcoming. The apartment was very comfortable and in a great location.

We stayed here briefly as three friends who all required separate bedrooms. The area was good and very close to the beach and station. The main room and main bedroom were nicely furnished, & the main terrace was nice, but the two other bedrooms had no windows. The bedroom in the basement had a really bad smell and was poorly ventilated with a machine that made no difference to the damp and was impossible to sleep with because of the noise it made. It was a health risk and it felt like sleeping in a cell.Unfortunately we had to move as none of us could sleep in the basement, and although the agent was helpful & responsive to our complaint, she was only able to refund us for one room, which wasn’t fair as we’d planned our trip to be together. To get to the main bathroom you had to walk through the second bedroom, which also had no window and there was no space to put our things. At a push, it may be suitable for a family with two children, but not three adults who all wanted separate bedrooms. The photos were misleading as well.
