Good price for a basic hotel

Booked at rather short notice and this was the cheapest budget hotel available. Near to the Asahikawa train station (10min walk). Basic business hotel. Saw many reviews about smoke smell and was initially worried but it was ok in the non-smoking room we booked; the smoke smell was present in the corridor outside the room and the ground floor lobby area. Breakfast was included in the room rate and we had a choice between udon noodles, natto with rice and curry rice.

Convenient hotel but smell of cigarettes.

A convenient hotel right in Asahikawa, parking is 300y for a nite. The whole hotel smell of cigarettes from the lobby to the room (it is very strong smell, so it's not very pleasant to sleep). Room is clean. Breakfast is simple.

Small very aged hotel

No air con in the both rooms we had, we turn on their hotel main ventilation unit & only a very weak amount of air was felt, not cold as well. We had to open the tiny window to allow outside air to cool the room down during our 2 days stay. Similar issue with my other room booked. Asked the hotel desk & response was poor, "no change". Request for an additional pillow, no extra pillows. Breakfast was mediocre. Curry rice with no meat, soba noodles plain. Very old dated hotel furniture. A far cry from the modern Dormy inn & Richmond hotels we had stayed in Hokkaido. Not worth the price difference & would recommend to pay a little more for Dormy inn or Richmond for much much better comfort. No free parking.

Great Location and Clean Room for budget

We stayed for two nights and found that the room was very clean and service for check in and check out was very efficient. The hotel is in a good location, in the middle of the shopping street and only 5 minutes walk from the JR station and bus stops. The Wifi was a little weak in our room but still use-able. The room itself is a little small but provides all the essentials, reflective of the price. All in all, it is a great choice for those on a budget with its great location and cleanliness.

It is a typical small room in Japan hotel. As I did not spend a lot of time in the room , except for sleeping, I think it is a value for money hotel, given its centralized location. I stayed here for visiting Furano and Sounkyo.

small but convenient

It is for business man. Located at the convenient area not far from Asahikawa station. Hotel itself is rather old so as the furniture and beds. Breakfast is 350Yen per head. Parking 550Yen. A bit far from Asahiyama zoo.
