Arrived at 4 am after having my wallet stolen at airport with all my ID as well in wallet. Room was pre paid but I had no card for incidentals. Wouldn’t allow us to check in. Had to cancel all the credit cards due to fraudulent activiity. Had no way to use Apple Pay. Didn’t matter to the desk worker. No empathy at all. Wouldn’t take cash either for incidentals saying it was a cashless hotel. Will most likely not stay at a Hampton again.

The property was clean and centrally located just north of downtown/midtown. We had plans all over the city and my son lives close by and could walk over to the property. Service was awesome and everything was a breeze!

Property was nice, great location. The Cajun restaurant next door was really good. There was some weird fee/credit card hold that I didn’t like. Otherwise, it’s was an excellent property and experience.

Nice property and the staff was very friendly. I will definitely book again when the pool is open. They serve breakfast which I though would just be bagels and cereal. However, he had waffle making machine, eggs, bacon & sausage. It was all very good!

One bad apple ruined the trip

Overall the stay was comfortable until it wasn't. The last night of our stay, we came back to the hotel and had to park in the overflow garage. Part of my group is an active duty military service member and an elder. When we walked into the open hotel doors from parking which was well past 6pm we were encountered by a line of guest waiting at the front desk. As we stood around we talked and was told by a couple of the guest it happened the night before that the doors were open and no one was at the desk! When Mark finally showed up they stated Mark was the employee they waited on the night before and they weren't happy. Mark immediately tried to clear the lobby - he ended up comping the guest before us the items they waited to pay for and rushed the next person thru as well. When he got to us Mark advised the military member "that will get you kicked out the hotel!" The service member just advised him that he was a bit rude. Mark's statement made other guest look like what?!? we were just trying to get our car validated for the overflow parking. After Mark told him he would kick him out he stated that we would have to get the validation done in the morning and he proceeded to assist the other 4-5 guest that were also waiting on him to come back. It was very off putting and ruined a nice vacation because we were concerned about the vehicle being towed.
