Liked the character of the hotel, did NOT like the valet dropoff.... way too rushed and difficult being in the street traffic. Also valet ridiculously expensive with no choice for self parking. Did not like that ice machine was only available on main floor 2 and out of the 2 machines only one was working. Bar service at hotel bar was not the best, had to ask for things several times, and did not receive things ordered. We had kids with us and were told that they had to be out of the bar by 8pm... a bit early I think when with the parents. The room was very nice, clean, fairly new, felt like quality.

First time staying here and it was OK. we have stayed at many hotels in Austin and this was just OK. parking was way more expensive than other hotels $65 a night is CRAZY!. I am not a fan of how small the restroom area was and there is no actual lock on the door to the RR, it’s a sliding door so you kinda feel uncomfy if staying with other people. STAFF was very friendly!

Gave checked us in and we were immediately greeted with kindness. He went above and beyond to make our stay special since it was our first time in Texas. FYI no need to pack your cowgirl boots, they have boots to borrow! We would stay here again. The upstairs at Caroline was not a highlight of our stay. There was no where to sit due to so many tables being reserved. It was packed each night we tried to go there. We ended up having to go elsewhere for cocktails.

Great location!

Loved the location, restaurant, happy hour bar and cleanliness! The staff were helful and the room size was great. What i wished they had more of was space in the bathroom to put things. No place to hang wet towels either. Great hotel overall.
