Great location, spacious room with a kitchenette in the King Studio. Housekeeping was a bit hit and miss but overall a really fabulous hotel in central London.

The most memorable part of our trip was check in when they told us that we had two reservations both checking in the same day and both booked through Expedia. One reservation was for four days. The other one was five. We were initially referred to Expedia. We spent four hours working with Expediaand hotels.com to figure out what was going on.Expedia found only one reservation. Ultimately A determined manager by the name of Abdul was able to get on the Expedia extranet and see that one of the reservations had in fact been canceled. There was one other interaction with a hotel that was not good. While Customer Service at the front desk and at the front door were excellent. We had occasion to stop by the concierge‘s desk, our first night there. The man at the concierge desk sometime after 9 PM and perhaps as late as 10:30 PM could not have been less hospitable. Other than that our stay was great. Our room was fabulous.

When we checked in there was only a handicap room available and the bathroom was very small and awkward. There were pulley cods and SOS buttons throughout. When I tried to address with staff I was told that was the only room in the pricing I picked and that the hotel was full so unable to change our accommodations. There are varying levels of rooms and ours was an interior room with no view. The best thing about this hotel is it’s location to some of London’s famous landmarks.
