We booked a Superior Room with King Room for £378 for 1 night - Superior Room is code for their standard room apparently we learned when checking in - the room itself was clean and roomy and the bed was comfortable however 2 points here - the room we recived had no natural light at all - no outward facing windows at all which made it very dark even during the day - in addition the noise outside our room at 4.00am and 5.00am with guests returnung from parties interupted the one nights sleep we had at the hotel - why hotels cant police floors when guests return late to ensure quiet has always baffled me - of course the guests in question are to blame for the noice but the hotel should have a duty of care for all guests and simply ensure late returning guests are chaperoned back to their returns should be quite an easy task for a hotel with plenty of staff - in addition to the guest noice the hotel staff seem quite keen to get going early as well with trolleys banging from 5.30 onwards - great hotel let down by taking guests for granted and over describing their rooms - £378 for a room with no windows or natural light - wowsers

Everything was great except it would be nice if kids over 12 were allowed in the gym with a parent. Our daughter is 13 and playing in a high level soccer tournament in Spain we stopped for one night in London. She wanted to get a run and some weights in prior to our flight so went down with my husband to work Out and was told they couldn’t go in as it’s 16 plus. I understand a spa but a gym ? With a parent ? It’s unfortunate as we enjoyed our stay just need to be able to work out in the am.
