AMAZING VIEWS

We loved the views this place had to offer. We for some reason did not have any screens in the window and would have loved to fall asleep listening to the ocean. The kitchen utensils and available dishes/etc...should be updated.

Loved it!

We had 10 family members in our group and we had a great time. The view, the access to the beach, hearing the waves in your bedroom - just amazing. The house was big enough for everyone to have space and do their own thing. The porch overlooking the ocean and beach was my favorite part. Plenary of seating out there and the constant breeze helped keep the mosquitos away. People were complaining about them this season and we never had even one. The location was great to shops, grocery stores, pharmacy, restaurants etc. We were close to the Ocracoke Ferry as well. We were missing blinds in one of the bedrooms. We told the rental company about it, they told us they were aware, but never came to fix it. That was sort of a bummer, but all the positives certainly outweighed that. It was also available to us a bit earlier than expected which was nice. Overall, we loved it, had the best time and can’t wait to come back to OBX.

Close to the beach but with a few problems…

While the house was beautiful and beachfront as advertised, it does not have direct beach access. You must walk down a few houses and then climb steeply over the dune. There is a grip mat to help, but it is not ideal. The house itself was gorgeous and fairly clean (minor issues like toothpaste on counter and sandy floors), but a major drawback was the mold around the windows in the dining area. We contacted the management company with to let them know, but the mold was not removed, nor were we spoken to beyond the initial reporting. The are was great, the beach and hot tub were nice, but we would likely not stay here again.

family vacation

This property was a great location to local stores and restaurants - of course, could not say enough about being right on the beautiful Hatteras beach!!!!! It was a perfect house for the ten of us. The check in was not until 5:30pm, after a day of travel to the Outer Banks, was a drag ( I was too late requesting early check in, so my fault), but got a text from realtor to see if we could check out earlier than the 10am listed- felt like we lost time somewhere. I also spoke to the realtor a couple of times about the trash issue and recyclables ( they never picked up the previous renters recycles all week- we had no place to put our recycling). We used the pool one day, that was included in the stay- very nice and relaxing. Overall, my family enjoyed your home and our vacation.

The house was the perfect location but we had minor issues. After being told we could enter we still had to wait over an hour to enter while the cleaning crew and inspector took care of some things. We had ants and sewage smell, but they were addressed by the end of the week. All in all, we would rent again.
