What a little gem to stay at ! I booked Primrose quite by chance for a three day off season stay. The staff were like family. Kind, warm accommodating. The chefs were amazing. The rooms, spotless, and the stay was like a coming home. We arrived super late around 11 pm. Anna called us around 7 to make sure we know all the restaurants in town will be closed by the time we get there and we may need to eat before getting to Bar Harbor. We had a swift check in and were offered a glass of wine and slipped into comfortable bed with good mattress ( thanks heavens for that mattress!). From that point everything was nice and swift. And what a great time to visit Bar Harbor if you are mainly going for the nature, hikes, and meditation , and not the crowd, I highly recommend first weeks of November!

The room was clean and spacious with a lovely fireplace. The staff was friendly, helpful and breakfast was delightful offering two delicious options. Close to town and the entrance to Acadia National Park. Highly recommend.

Cute and Quaint

Cutest little inn. Clean, delicious breakfast, and perfect location. Walls are a little thin so you might hear your neighbors a bit. This wasn’t a dealbreaker, but something to note for light sleepers. Would definitely stay again!
