Here at the heart of one of the most sought-after areas of Tuscany you’ll enjoy all the benefits of rural seclusion yet be just a few minutes’ drive from the lively town of San Donato and close to the wine towns of Greve, Radda, and Castellina. Even the highway that connects Florence and Siena is within easy reach. 



So there’s plenty of exploring to do – if you make it that far. You might find the signs pointing to local vineyards on neighbouring roads a bit of a distraction. Down those country lanes they're producing delicious wines right on your doorstep. Perhaps you’ll buy a few bottles to enjoy while watching the sun go down from one of the villa’s three sizeable terraces or in its huge lounge.

For it’s all about space at this renovated farmhouse, inside and out. Step through the large front door into the central entrance hall, off which lies a big, well-equipped kitchen, a dining room that can comfortably seat your whole party, and that welcoming lounge with its brick-edged arched windows that let the light flood in.



Upstairs you’ll find five good-sized bedrooms, with original features such as tiled floors and beamed ceilings and beautiful views through the windows of the rambling grounds. Down in the garden, the pool and sun terrace are as generously proportioned as the rest of the villa. There’s plenty of room for the whole gang here at Le Volpaie.
