Podere del Chianti is a century old luxury villa located between Florence and Siena. It has been recently renovated with an eye to traditional style and touches of luxury. Airy and spacious, the villa offers a Hollywood-worthy retreat in the Tuscan countryside.

Located 5 minutes away from the village of Tavarnelle Val di Pesa the villa is the perfect getaway for those looking for absolute relaxation. Situated in a completely peaceful environment, this lovingly restored six bedroom villa has gorgeous views of the surrounding countryside completed by luxury interiors.

Upon arrival you will be welcome by the cypress tree lined road and the magnificent gardens with oak trees, olive trees, colorful flowers lemon trees in ancient terracotta pots.

ACCOMODATION: the villa can accommodate 12 persons in 6 bedrooms with 5 bathrooms. It extends on two levels plus a dependance:

Main villa (ground floor): the villa opens in a spacious and bright veranda with fireplace, old stone floors and comfortable sofa where to enjoy a glass of local wine. From the veranda you access the biliard room with a corner bar, the main kitchen, the dining room with fireplace and Tv room.

On this floor the furniture are entirely made of fine wood, in the colors of black and white offering to the ambient a pleasant and harmonious contrast.

Main villa (first floor): You reach the first floor through a stone staircase. This floor opens in to a spacious living area with a typical Tuscan old fireplace and comfortable sofas. Wooden beamed ceilings in a luxurious atmosphere create a cosy feeling with all the comforts you might need.

On this level are located also the 4 bedrooms all with walk-in closet and ensuite bathrooms with bathtub and shower. The bedrooms are charmingly decorated and have beautiful views of the landscape. Three of the bedrooms have double bed and one bedroom has twin beds. The bathrooms deserve a special note to mention that they are all made with a valuable local material known as travertino marble.

Dependance: the two extra bedrooms are located in the depandance adjacent to the main villa. The depandance consists of a kitchen with dining area two bedrooms and a shared bathroom with shower. One bedroom is double and the other has twin beds perfect for children.

GARDEN & SWIMMING POOL: The villa’s masterpiece is the swimming pool (16 x 7.50 meters and 0.50 - 2.40 meters deep) together with the jacuzzi. Walk down the stone steps to the pool enjoying the landscaped garden perfect to relax on summer days. The swimming pool overlooks the Chianti countryside and will give you unforgettable memories of Tuscany.

By the pool area you can find the barbecue for your al fresco dinners. A true Tuscan experience wouldn’t be complete without a SPA. Entrance is located on the back of the villa and the SPA occupies the entire villa lower floor. A real piece of paradise in the heart of Chianti: turkish bath, sauna and jacuzzi are at your disposal there.

The price includes: gas for cooking, water, electricity; towels and bed linens, 1 pool towel per person per week; Wi-Fi internet connection; use of the SPA and use of the pool; mid-week cleaning (change of towels on Wednesday from 11 am).

The price excludes (to be paid to the property): final cleaning: Euro 350.00; air conditioning (if used): Euro 300.00 per week; heating (if used): Euro 300.00 per week; city tax: Euro 1.5 per person per night.

Extra services (on request): extra bed: Euro 200.00 per week; baby cot: Euro 50.00 per week; extra maid service: Euro 25 per hour; complete change of linen and towels: Euro 20.00 per person.

Keys deposit: Euro 1,000.00 (It will be refunded on departure, provided that no damages were caused by the client).
