The only thing going for this property is the location.
First impressions as you pull up are that the neighborhood is great, the waterfront location is great. But this property is dated, and in bad need of repair and TLC. When you walk into the house it only gets worse.
The yard is more dandelions than grass and has significant areas where it was just dirt and gravel bits. There was no pleasing landscaping or anything cheery or happy about this house or the property.
The dock has rotten boards. Some missing. Others lifted, warped, and the paint peeling.
Listing says it sleeps 12. WRONG. Only 3 bedrooms, with 3 beds. There are 2 air mattresses that will allow for 3 additional people to sleep which gives a grand total of 9 but there were not enough pillows for all. There were only 6 towels provided. To the host's credit they did respond and bring more pillows and towels but they are 1.5 hours away from the property and everything should already be onsite for you to enjoy not have to follow up and ask for.
The furniture is a hodge podge of cheap mismatched pieces. The decor and amenities is giving "picked up from free pile on the corner". I've actually seen nicer stuff in free piles than what was in this house.
Carpet leading upstairs is matted/stained. The place was overrun with spiders and webs inside.
Only 2 small wall mounted A/C units in entire house. One in the living room and one in the primary bedroom. Only gives minor relief from the heat in both of those rooms and does nothing for the rest of the house.
