Staff was great. Our problem was heat in the rooms. First room had no heat & was blowing out cold air. Maintenance tried to fix but it didn't work so we eventually got another room. We had the same problem with that except heat wasn't blowing out cold air, it just wouldn't heat. Didn't feel like moving all our stuff again & it was getting late so we just went to bed & told them about it the next morning. We were staying 2 nights so they had maintenance check the new room & they thought they fixed it but when we returned, still no heat. So we got another room & it was great!. It had heat & the king bed we originally had. (2nd room had 2 full size beds) The staff was great & they did all they could to accommodate us. The hotel was crowded that night as the Patriots played that night down the road & it had many Pats & Giants fans. Very cold night that night & heat was needed. 3rd time was a charm!

The front desk staff was not efficient when addressing basic requests such as towels or room issues. Additionally, the hot water in my room did not work, and I had to switch rooms as a result. Overall, the hotel is in need of major upgrades—particularly the carpeting, walls, and interior spaces. The property would greatly benefit from a comprehensive renovation.

We were given a room on the main floor and had to be moved due to the strong marijuana smell which almost made me sick. At first, the service desk seemed to not believe us, stating it’s against the law to smoke in the hotel and they couldn’t move us but would spray the hallway. The second shift was more accommodating and we were then moved to the 3rd floor which was ok until the 2nd night when there was also a strong marijuana smell in the hallways. This was very uncomfortable and unacceptable.

We booked a stay at Hilton Boston/Dedham for Thanksgiving Day trip fora couple of nights. We checked in on a cold (low 30s F) Thanksgiving Day night and were given a room in which the thermostat was at 61degrees. Despite a prompt visit from “the buildings mechanic it did not improve. They booked us into a different. Better at 67 degrees but still cold because that thermostat did not work either and the bed did not have a warm comforter. The pleasant and polite staff canceled our reservation for the following night and we checked out and stayed at a different hotel in Waltham. This Hilton is in serious need of a refresh. We are going to try to get the second night refunded by Hotels.com.

Disaster! Heat was not working and the front desk was holding guests “hostage” with promises that they would fix it. Questionable people hanging around in the lobby. When approaching our room the loud noise of people having s*x was a huge red flag. We walked out.
