A nice breakfast to start the day. I was really impressed with how clean the shared bathrooms were kept. It was quiet and the staff were friendly. Wifi worked well. Not too far of a walk to metro and Harvard Square.

Very quiet room (in back), soft linens, friendly staff, wonderful breakfast. I would stay here again. I felt safe here as a solo traveler. It is not super-close to the T, so recommended for folks who are driving or have no trouble walking. The neighborhood is very walkable and pleasant, with businesses nearby for anything you might need.

My date to stay was 25 Dec to 26 Dec when I had to find accommodation at short notice since a rental was not ready. An excellent choice, where I had stayed many years ago. My daughter located it. Tea was available in the evening. All the New Yorkers I could want for an evening of reading. The breakfast was outstanding and was still being served at nearly 10 a.m. I loved having a real bathtub, and using it. It was easy to sleep deep and long -- what else could you want? And books - everywhere you encounter evidence of a management that honors readers, writers and reading. AND honors guests. Thank you!! And did I say the location was ideal? Almost on Harvard's campus -- easy walking distance to the museums of the campus.
