We had a great stay here for 5 nights. Service was excellent overall. Food was great at the buffet in Vela. We ate breakfast and lunch everyday there. Restaurants for non Enclave was first come first serve with the exception of Noriku (hibachi) restaurant which required reservations being made same day (early morning at concierge desk) Food was a bit sub par at all sit down/plated restaurants, with small portions and poor quality. Pool was also not heated and a bit cold for most so not a whole lot of activity in the pool while we were there although the entertainment staff were amazing and engaging. The Beach was a highlight, sand was white and clean, and the water was warmer than the pool. Get there early if you have any chance of grabbing chairs. Fire Show at night was awesome on Friday.

Overall it was a nice resort. The beach was beautiful and where we spent most of our time. The pools were beautiful but a bit on the cool side. The heated jacuzzis are reserved for Enclave members only. We enjoyed the steakhouse and Hibachi restaurant, but they didn’t offer a lot of fresh options they were made to order. Our family did enjoy the entertainment options and especially loved Santos, who made us feel welcome immediately. Our room had an ocean view with a balcony, it was very nice/clean and we could see the sunrise every morning. I would recommend bringing a sound/noise machine if you have younger children because you can hear the shows at night from inside the room with the doors closed. Overall the entertainment staff was super friendly but the wait staff wasn’t the most welcoming. It was a nice resort, but I don’t know that we would go back.

They didn’t have our room when we checked in even though we paid for the night. The hotel over sold the rooms. We were sent to another low grade hotel and they didn’t have any information about us staying there and wanted us to paid for the night. We showed the reservation number for the resort and they wanted us to call the hotel and make all of the arrangements. We refused to call and told them they needed to call since it was a sister hotel. Finally they were informed. Needless to say we were very upset. The next day we were picked you by the hotel and checked in finally. In the original reservation we were a group of 3 families and the hotel did not clean all of our rooms on the same day. We had to call and ask for them to clean it. We will never return nor do we recommend the resort. It seems like they are under staff.

Spotless and spacious rooms with a great view. The best part of the day was the sling up to the wonderful view of the ocean and the pools. Courteous staff, they do out of their way to make you comfortable. The restaurant front staff not as much, with 2 hour wait times, their is only so much they can do.. Activities are great - love the space and layout of the hotel. It’s quite big, if you plan to stay in the resort for the duration of the stay, having a large open space with plenty activities keeps you humming. Food is good, drinks were very cool, authentic. Pool options are great as well. White sands, no seaweeds and clean open blue green water - proximity to Sun, sand and beach - what else do you need in a vacation.

The hotel is well maintained, clean and spacious rooms with a big and clean bathrooms. All personal is very attentive and activities are good, also the restaurants and food is good, sometimes a little busier but we stayed in a high season and even with that it wasn’t that bad. The beach is top and the beautiful sea is the most amazing for me personally. We stayed in a family trip with my two boys and they loved it, we will definitely comeback.

This was the best stay in Mexico we have ever had! From the super friendly and accommodating hotel staff, the quick response times from the concierge, the fun activities, the amazing spa, to the abundance of food and drinks! We can't imagine going to any other hotel next year! Would give it 10 stars if I could!!! We felt completely pampered and at home here.

Since that felt a bit pricey, I initially declined. The staff then offered a discounted rate of $100 per night, which we accepted. He also mentioned that the upgrade came with access to Enclave exclusive privileges, which were indeed enjoyable. However, I was disappointed to find out later that the rate difference on Hotels.com was only $50 per night, which made me feel the initial offer was overpriced.
