The staff was very friendly, however the resort itself was extremely underwhelming; especially the hotel entrance and lobby. This by no means lived up to an actual "Hilton property"
My bathroom shower had mold in the corners. The buffet had the same exact food every single day ( we were there for five days ). We have been to Cancun multiple times each time at a different resort and each resort offered a variety of different kinds of food options every single day. This was extremely disappointing especially for a Hilton property. There weren't as many seafood/vegetarian options as well. There are 5 restaurants on the property but only three open during lunch. Again - offering the same food every single day!
A few times we ordered drinks by the pool where the server would just happen to "disappear", and attend to other people. I have had to physically go up the drink section and find the server I placed the order with and ask about my drinks. Each time I was told " oh we went to other side "
When that clearly wasn't the case. They didn't have fresh coconuts - which I thought was very odd.
The four flights of stairs to get to the beach was a little annoying (again comparing to other resorts).
The kids pool area was definitely a hit with my kids, and the activities by the main pool were solid.
Overall did not feel like a Hilton property and food variety, seafood and vegetarian options were bare minimum.
