Antico Casale Sodini sijaitsee pienessä kylässä Vorno, aivan Luccan ulkopuolella, Italiassa Toscanan rehevillä rinteillä vain lyhyen ajomatkan päässä Luccan kylän keskustasta.
Tämä viehättävä Villa oli alun perin maalaistalo ja se on kauniisti kunnostettu tyylikkäällä ylellisyydellä.
Tämä huvila saa sinut tuntemaan kuin olisit tulossa kotiin kiinnittäen huomiota yksityiskohtiin jokaisen mukavuuden ja tarpeen mukaan. Serenity on täällä tarjottava elämänfilosofia, koska Antico Casale Sodini saatetaan takaisin elämään nautinnonne vuoksi.
Täällä lämpimin kultaisin iltapäivisin voit hengittää menneisyyden yksinkertaisiin nautintoihin.
Huoneet ovat intiimejä ja viihtyisiä asuintiloja, täynnä lämpöä ja tervetulleita.

Huvila ylemmässä kerroksessa on viisi kahden hengen huonetta, joissa kaikissa on oma kylpyhuone.
Kolme huonetta ovat pohjoiseen päin, ja niistä on näkymät panoraamalaaksoon ja kukkuloille ja kaksi näkymää etelään kauniin puutarhan ja puron yli.
Viidestä makuuhuoneesta yksi on iso isäntäsviitti, jossa on olohuone, joka tarjoaa mukavuuden ja ylellisyyden.
Huvila on täynnä ajanjakson huonekaluja ja upeita koriste-esineitä. Mikään ei ole jätetty sattuman varaan.
Ylelliset kylpyhuoneet on varustettu sekä kylpyammeilla että suihkulla. Tilava puutarha on täynnä ruukkutettuja sitruunoita, oliivipuita, mäntyjä, kamelia, wisteriaa, ruusuja, laventelia, rosmariinia ja hedelmäpuita, jotka kaikki muodostavat upean taustan uima-altaalle.

Living like a local

Samuele, Lucia, Ilaria and Roberta offered us an exceptional stay. This is the perfect location for an Italian adventure. Located in Vorno with easy access to the autostrada, you can easily access Tuscany, Liguria and more. If you want to stay in the villa the pool and outdoor space are magical.

Bella Toscana at its very best!

Wonderful memories thanks to the whole Sodini family, especially Lucia who made us feel so welcome every day. Stunning property with all amenities and spectacular views from the large pool. Can’t praise this highly enough, and we’ve been spending our summers in Tuscany for 20 years now. Casale Sodini is easily the best for a larger family or group of friends!

Wonderful trip to Tuscany!

Samuele and Lucia are very attentive hosts. We had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. They recommended a chef Ilaria to come to the villa for cooking lessons and to prepare a delicious 4 course meal. This a must when you stay at the villa! And the location is fantastic, and driving distance to many regions in Tuscany. I highly recommend visiting the old city of Lucca so much to discover there. We pray we can return soon.

Lovely Lucca!

We loved this villa. The property was lovely and the pool was amazing. It had a truly rustic Italian Villa vibe, but was very nicely appointed. The ice maker in the kitchen was an unexpected treat. The location in a small town of Vorno was close to everything and we used it as our home base to venture out to all of Tuscany. Samuele and his daughter Lucia were very helpful and always available for whatever random question we had. Thank you!

a beautiful location and very helpful owners

We stayed for a week with our children and grandchildren. Lucia was our main contact and was very helpful in all ways including booking restaurants. The property has plaenty of room and a big garden. The pool is the stand out feature: it is large and deep with a diving board and we spent part of each day enjoying it. The views from the pool area are spectacular. The house is spacious and cool with excellent bedrooms and bathrooms. We found it a little dark, but perhaps this is typical of this area. There is an annex which can accomodate 3 which we didnt need to use. We fely the annex wasnt up to the standard of the main house. Samuele`s recommendations fro local restaurants were great and we enjyed meals in all the 3 local ones. It was easy to reach Lucca and Pisa from the villa. Overall we had a very enjoyable holiday.

I cannot recommend this property highly enough, it exceeded my expectations as we were 7 adults and 6 children. The villa was very child friendly and had a beautiful swimming pool and large garden for the children to play in. , icemaking and expresso machine.it also has wifi Every bedroom had it own airconditoner and bathroom and the only noise was the birds singing in the trees.We always had plenty of hot water and there are excellent laundry facilities. the location was great as it was approx 3 miles from lucca, a full size supermarket was 2 miles away and two excellent resturants within a 5 mt drive, La Cecca and LaBimbotta. The train station in lucca is a gateway to pisa, rome and florence and there were many beautiful places for visit for day trips within easy driving distance. Our host was an excellent host and could not do enough to make our stay as enjoyable as possible, (we stayed for a month) Go stay and enjoy the wonderful tuscan hospitality

Wonderful place. Perfect for a large group.

Wonderful experience. Fabulous spacious rooms Unbelievable pool area - just amazing. Lucia was very responsive, friendly and helpful. It would have been helpful to have a guide on the house - e.g. how the sockets and switches worked ( light switches turned plug sockets on and off and was quite confusing). There were no instructions on waste collection and recycling and only a tiny bin provided which for 10 people was not suitable. A few improvements needed in the kitchen - there were no sharp knives, no wooden board for cutting bread and the other plastic chopping boards were very old and warped. The socket where the microwave was plugged in was hanging off the wall exposing the wires. I small suggestion for other new guests - please provide new dishwashing sponges, cloths and at least one or 2 dishwasher tablets. An extra drying airer for clothes is needed. One airer for 10 people is not sufficient. We had to hang towels on railings. Overall this is a fantastic place - we all loved it. There is a bus stop right outside to take you 15 mins to Lucca which is a fantastic walled city. The scenery all around is breathtaking. Our host was so lovely - she was very kind and got someone to fix the ice machine straight away. She also let us check out a bit later was was super helpful.

Our 3 weeks at Casale Sodini

We were a family of at some points 9 adults during our stay over mid-July to August 10th. Our impression of the property was very true to the photographs posted which was a rustic restored farmhouse with beautiful grounds. The pool area was even larger in person. As you can see from the posted photos, there are 5 ensuite bathrooms for the 5 bedrooms in the main house and 2 bedrooms and 1 bath in the annex across the front courtyard. All are a very good size with nice amenities and furnishings. The living room is a good size and the dining room accommodated the 9 of us easily. The air conditioning worked well and kept both the main house and annex cool and comfortable. We experienced a pretty bad heatwave the first week so we were grateful for the AC. The staff, especially Isabella were very accommodating, helpful and friendly. Isabella also speaks English well. The kitchen was well equipped with a good size new refrigerator. The separate ice maker came in handy. The only problem we incurred in the entire 3 weeks was on our arrival day. Somehow, I could not get my gps to locate 65 Via di Vorno so we were over an hour late arriving. The small bridge is not marked so we missed it. We believe it would be difficult to cross over the bridge into the property with any car larger than a VW Passat Station Wagon (which is what we rented). The good news is once we decided we were lost we called Samuelle who picked up promptly and asked Isabella, who lives nearby to meet us and lead us to the villa. Our stay at the villa was spectacular and we were more than pleased with the condition of the property and all amenities. It was a nice surprise one day after our family left and it was just the two of us that Samuelle came over to introduce himself and made us feel very welcome. He invited us to the house next door where his parents live and we had a lovely visit. We opted to hire the villa chef and caretaker Isabella to prepare a dinner for all 9 of us. We were able to chose the courses and she and her daughter Sophia came and cooked for us. It was wonderful. We would mention after going to the market, Essalunga a couple of times on Condordia, we found the Coop market in Guamo was within minutes to the villa and had everything we needed including a full butcher. We highly recommend Casale Sodini for those who want to be in the country but close enough to Lucca and Pisa. Grazie

Huset ser ud som luksus på billederne, men lever slet ikke op til det. Der lugter af fugt i spisestuen, så vi undgik at bruge den. Der er sorte plamager der ligner skimmelsvamp. Rengøringen var mangelfuld, og der var massive problemer med myrer i annekset – de kravlede endda i sengene og efterlod sorte plamager. Poolen er privat, men man føler sig ikke alene, da familien, gartnere og maskiner færdes i området. Ejendommen ligger ud til en vej og et savværk, og der er en bæk i nærheden, som betyder ekstremt mange myg. Kokken de anbefalede var ikke pengene værd, og der var et hvepsebo i grillen, som vi selv måtte fjerne. Ingen hyggelige ude miljø, der er kun pool med hårde plastik senge og ingen parasol. Masser af terrasser men nul miljø og hygge. Beliggenheden er heller ikke god – der er intet i nærheden, og man skal køre for alt. Affaldet skal man putte over i garagen men de kommer kun og henter 1 gang. Så der er både mus og myrer der. Vi skrev til udlejer men har intet hørt. Vi har taget billeder af alt, også da vi efterlod stedet. Så kan dokumentere det meste. Alt i alt lever stedet på ingen måde op til prisen eller betegnelsen luksus!! Synes evt lejer skal vide hvad de lejer.

Lyxigt boende med oväntat fin service.

Ett generöst boende med gott om utrymme för släkten, vi var 10 personer. Härlig AC i alla utrymmen. Poolen jättefin men på litet håll från huset. Svårt att övervaka utan direkt närvaro. Otrolig service med sophämtning dagligen byte av handdukar och helstädning efter en vecka. Omgivningen utmärkt med flera bra restauranger inom någon kilometers väg. Lucca och Pisa två intressanta städer att besöka. Butiker mest i Lucca, dock ett utmärkt enotek helt nära. Husets kock förtjänar en eloge. En jättefin middag ordnades en kväll och alla var nöjda. På minussidan några få saker: visst missförstånd om de hyrda rummen . Rekommendation att när kontrakt om hyran skrives hyresvärden talar om vad som ingår och vad som inte ingår. kostnaden för reparation av hushållsapparater som går sönder trots adekvat behandling måste belasta hyresvärden och inte gästen.

Absolutely breathtaking

I could not have asked for a better vacation. Everything about our stay was everything we expected... and then some! My family and extended family stayed at Samuele's villa and all 12 of us had nothing bad to say about our experience. It was great to all be in the same home to be able to spend time together, but when we needed alone time with our respective families we were able to separate and not bother one another. We were all able to eat together in the dining room and relax around the pool. The guys all went golfing one day and use women stayed back for an in house massage! Each of the 4 families took full advantage of the extra services and my family (all animal lovers) decided on the horseback riding adventure. We never had to worry about cleaning (something that I always somehow end up doing on vacation!?) because Mrs. Roberta was always on top of whatever tidying up needed done. This is the first vacation I have been on that I can truly say I have been able to relax the entire trip. It's safe to say this vacation is one for the books! Thank you!

The Antico Casale Sodini is perfection and has relaxation galore. The home is beautiful and luxurious. Loved the pool and the landscape was amazing. Perfect place to relax and enjoy Italy along with being close to the town. Heaven on earth is the best way to describe it. The home was clean and the owner , Sam Sodini was awesome! Will be coming back again!

Tranquil, Serene, and Simply Beautiful

There just are not enough words to express the experience I had during my stay at the Villa Antico Casale Sodini. Immediately upon my arrival, I was taken in by just the natural beauty of the place. Tall, lush beautiful mountains, gardens of such delicate beauty, that you are just swept away. The villa itself is gorgeous from top to bottom. I fell in love with the vaulted ceilings, and the view of the garden in the hallway is breathtaking. My mornings were spent in the garden which was the perfect setting for meditation and reflection. My nights were spent swimming in the glow of the Italian moonlight. The staff was outstanding. Mrs. Isabella cooking was divine and Mrs. Roberta was always helpful. Even the owner Sam proved to be a very down-to-earth and personable guy. I truly enjoyed my stay and will most certainly be booking this luxurious villa again!

Wonderful home, wonderful host

Samuele's home is the perfect base for exploring Tuscany. We had 3 families, each with young children. The house held us well and the yard was great for outdoor dining and playing. The walled town of Lucca was a 10 minute drive. Awesome town, we could have spent a lot more time there. We were also able to get to the coast easily, as well as Florence and the surrounding area. Samuele is the most gracious host and took very good care of us! Valentino and Larissa were wonderful as well. They prepared delicious meals, served the perfect wine, and offered all the special touches you would experience from fine dining professionals. They were also fun to work with! All in all a perfect trip. Thank you!

Antico Casale Sodini

My family rented Antico Casale Sodini during our recent trip to Italy. We have teenagers, so we wanted a home that would be comfortable, yet spacious. The villa was lovely and exceeded our expectations. It was clean, comfortable and conveniently located. The view from the villa is breathtaking! The beautiful backyard and large pool were a huge bonus as we like to exercise and then relax after a day of sightseeing. There was internet access, so our teenagers were happy to stay connected to their “facebook” world. Antico Casale Sodini is located 10 minutes from Lucca, a quiet, charming, yet upscale town that offered bicycling, shopping, wine tasting and much more! It is located close to several nice restaurants, a large grocery store and other amenities. The owner, Samuele Sodini was extremely gracious and helpful with advice about restaurants and local activities. He was extremely accommodating with information before the trip (via email) and while we stayed at Villa Casale. Breakfast was served each morning by Julia, the housekeeper. She also tidied the rooms and helped us with restaurant reservations and other questions. She couldn’t have been more delightful. Our trip was indeed a trip of a lifetime, and we enjoyed every minute. We would recommend highly a stay at Antico Casale Sodini! Kim
