Loved my stay here! What a cozy little place! The decor in my room was creative and fabulous, and I loved little touches like a plate of cookies and water in the fridge. Comfy bed and linens too. Also, I forgot a couple items and the concierge was happy to provide! The location is great as well, right in the heart of Carlsbad and close to an Albertson’s.

I was traveling with my daughter, and we were almost tired enough to stay at the sketchy motel in Whites City. Only our hungry kept us moving. We saw The Fiddlers Inn, on the booking site we use, and decided to try something different. I’m so glad we did. The room had its own exterior door, a cute bathroom, awesome bedroom, and all were very nicely decorated, and clean. 7 year old was running around checking everything out: “They left us cookies! You can have my earplugs, if I can have your peppermint patty! We can read these books! I’m first in shower!” Breakfast comes in form of a voucher to cafe, 2 doors down. I had bacon egg cheese croissants, she had French toast. Then I had time to braid her hair, before heading to the caverns. Perfect stay. Thank you Jenn

The stay was nice and all, but its definitely a small area thats cramped and overpriced for what it is worth. The breakfast, like many stays, is very meh. They just give goua coupon to go to the breakfast restaurant next door which is very good but very busy. Good luck trying to catch them on time if you want biscuits and gravy! Other than that...the yard is very nice, the rooms are comfortable, and I absolutely loved the cats there.

The room was extremely cozy and well-kept. The hospitality was excellent, offering little touches like complimentary cookies in the room, and an $18 breakfast voucher to the cafe next door. The manager was very communicative and helpful. Only issue I experienced was the WiFi kept dropping, but the mobile network was fine so this was not a major inconvenience.

This was a delightful stay. All the comforts of an AB&B without the stupid fees. The room was unique, comfortable, and well appointed. Comfy bed, good pillows, hot shower, good water pressure, very useful kitchen, very clean. The patio/garden space outside was very pleasant and the cats were affectionate and added a level of homey comfort. I will stay here again and recommend you do as well.

The room was charmingly decorated, thoughtful goodies were available, check in and out was a breeze, and Jenn made two (inteoverted) road weary travelers feel warmly welcomed with a nice cool environment. The whole property is lovely and well maintained. We definitely will be back on our next trip to Carlsbad!

Beautiful homey inn. Room was accessible off courtyard which had cats! Sadly didn’t have time for the hot tub. Within a block of grocery store and cafe which we received a breakfast voucher for and was amazing.

Just one night but just what we needed

We arrived late, maybe 9:30, and Jenn had texted instructions with a key code so it was easy to get in. Bed was comfortable. The voucher for Blue House Bakery was nice.
