The house "Aldeia da Serra" is a typical house of Beira Alta, located on the northern slope of Serra da Estrela at an altitude of 700 meters in a village with the same name (Aldeia da Serra).

Great location 3 minutes from Celorico da Beira. In Celorico you will find all types of commerce and access to highways. near the entrance to Portugal in Vilar Formoso

This house is a studio, with lots of natural light (4 windows with panoramic views). It has a small kitchen, full bathroom and double bed. There are even stove pallets for colder days.
Outside there is a small terrace with a table and chairs (to enjoy the panoramic view and have a drink), there is a patio and a covered area. There is also a garden (under construction) with 500m2 where you will find cherry and olive trees and other small trees.

History, this entire area was the scene of battles and confrontations with ancient peoples. so you find many castles and fortifications that you can visit. As well as typical historical villages.

Celorico on the edge, Linhares on the edge, Guarda, Trancoso, Almeida among others. all within a 50km radius

Gastronomy:
Serra da Estrela cheese (one of the best cheeses in Portugal).
There is a cheese museum in Celorico and several stores where you can find typical products.
There are several typical restaurants where you can eat very well for less than 15 Euros per person.
