Rooms were run down and cramped (8 people to a room that should have been for 5) beds were shaky, no bathroom on same floor as dorms, no towels or free water, and the beds were terribly unconfortable. Also, the airconditioned room was only airconditioned for certain hours, so when someone was in the room and wanted to use it, they couldnt.

Khai is the best!!!

The owner Khai is one of the most amazing host you could imagine! Anything you need he will help you with. The hostel itself has a really cool hangout area which is a great place to meet people if you're a solo traveler. They also offer breakfast all day and drinks! Showers are good and have lots of hot water. Absolutely wonderful hostel.

Couldn't have been any better in ChiangMai if not stayed in ThailandWoW! The hoster is soooooo amazing, so hospitable and offered all kinds of help and advices you can image! He made me feel like staying at home rather than in a hostel. So glad I stayed there during the Songkran festival and met so many wonderful travelers as well.

Das Hostel sieht genauso aus wie auf den Bildern. Ein hängender Stuhl, bequeme Tische und Stühle sowie eine Chill-Area mit Ventilatoren begrüßen einen. Khai, der Eigentümer, lag schlafend in der Chill-Area neben anderen Gästen. Irgendwann wurde er wach und sagte uns, dass unsere Betten noch nicht fertig seien, wir können natürlich aber erstmal duschen gehen. Danach zeigte uns Khai auf einer Karte was man alles in Chiang Mai machen kann (Thai Boxing, Cooking Class, Elefanten baden usw etc.) Khai war immer sehr hilfsbereit und hat ein sehr gutes Englisch gesprochen. Das Hostel ist bei Backpackers sehr beliebt, man lernt schnell andere Leute kennen. Sein Team war auch super. Das Frühstück, Pad Thai (nach Omas Rezept), der Obstsalat oder die kalten Getränke waren unglaublich lecker. Wir haben dort eines der besten Pad Thais auf unserer Reise gegessen. In der Umgebung befindet sich ein Tempel in dem man sich für ca. 150 Bath die Stunde massieren lassen kann - auch super empfehlenswert. Gerne wieder!
