Had such an amazing time staying at The Rambler. So convenient in location, coffee was super super yummy, and beds were INSANELY comfortable. My partner and I both mentioned how much of a good nights rest we got. Really enjoyed the Saturday evening movie nights happening poolside. Such a great vibe that both staff and other guests we also happy to be there. Will gladly return the next time we’re in the SD area!

This place is the best, hands down! The staff is incredibly friendly and available at all times. The housing maintenance staff seems to be on shift all day, ensuring that every room is clean. I will definitely be back soon!

Great choice for a family vacation near the San Diego beaches. The motel has a retro charm to it, the coffee shop in the lobby has an arcade that we all enjoyed. The pool was very clean, the water was warm enough to enjoy the a swim at night (we went in May, so the weather was still a little chilly).

The Rambler Hotel is excellent in every way. Location is great for business travelers since it’s right off the freeway and it’s conveniently close to a lot of stores. There’s a Cafe/Coffee Shop at the property that opens 7am-8pm, the coffee is excellent and the food is OK. The motel itself has been renovated and the decor/theme is so fun. Service is excellent, from the Front Desk, the cafe staff and cleaning staff, everyone was so nice and friendly. Will definitely stay again if we’re in the area.

My family and I stayed here for one night so we can enjoy the swimming pool. The pool was decent. There wasn’t much food in their little restaurant. And the room looked like they really tried hard to update it but the popcorn ceilings in the old bathroom sink and shower Just wasn’t working for me plus, the air conditioner look like it was from the 70s and didn’t work very well. I stayed at this hotel 30 years ago and it is better than it was then but they still have some improving to go. We didn’t even stay the night.
