A cozy and comfortably furnished holiday apartment in an apartment building on a hillside on the Glockenberg in Altenau. Your vacation home is equipped with a terrace and Wi-Fi. Enjoy the stunning views your vacation home offers and be inspired for varied tours in the Harz Mountains. Upon your return, a visit to the Kristalltherme Heißen Brocken thermal baths is a great option for spending relaxing and rejuvenating hours.
The climatic health resort of Altenau is not only one of the starting points for hikes on the Harzer Hexenstieg (Hexenstieg Trail), but is also home to Europe's largest herb park with a beautiful spice gallery. A visit to the Altenau private brewery, with a guided tour and tasting, is also not to be missed. It is the only remaining brewery in the Upper Harz. Altenau is located in the heart of the Upper Harz, about ten kilometers from Clausthal-Zellerfeld and 15 kilometers from Goslar. To the east, the peak of the Brocken is 12 kilometers away.
