Cozy waterfront 2/2 located on a deep & wide canal near Lake George and Georgetown, FL. Just a 15-minute boat ride to Salt Springs, Silver Glen, or Jupiter Springs -it's all about the water and relaxation here! Bring a boat or rent one nearby. The area claims to be the "Bass Capital of the World"! Get your freshwater fishing and swimming in nearby and/or visit the white beaches and shopping in St. Augustine only about an hour away. Waterfront canal fishing & swimming (see full description under amenity "pool"). Welcome to our happy place! Pets accepted with a fee. Larger group? The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Strip any used beds, gather used towels and store extra beds
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
Do not pour grease down sink.
Set AC back to 75 in summer and heat back to 60 in the winter.
Return furniture/items to its original location.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

Canal stay in Georgetown

This property is very nice with water access to the St. John’s river. The screened in porch was a great playpen for our two fur babies. The master bed was very comfortable. The grill was new and a great design that we used often. This property is in a quiet neighborhood with minimal traffic in the dead end road. Great place to stay with a good location in the countryside of “ Old Florida” Area is slow paced with good restaurants nearby.

The trailer was clean, and the dock was good. There is no water at the dock, but the water hose can be pulled down to use it. The lighting in the trailer is poor. The bulbs are low-watt, and some are burned out. Toilet paper is so thin you can read a newspaper through it. Pictures make the place look bigger. For the price it fine for a fishing trip.

Great dock on canal to St John’s river

Comfortable mobile home with a well equipped kitchen and plenty of room to spread out. A bit dated but pleasant with a large screened lanai with short walk the large fishing dock.

Fishing and NASCAR

Daughter and son-in-law joined us for my husband's 60th birthday celebration (actual bd later this month). Water was very high, so we wondered about the fishing, but thankfully, it was great. Hour drive to Daytona where husband drove solo for 24 minutes on the International Speedway track!! A Blast! Enjoyed game day at Three Bananas. Just a wonderful time. Can't give all five stars because the guest room beds were uncomfortable and there were a few minor issues. This was a return visit for me and my husband. The place is quiet, restful, fun, and a great getaway for us. Fishing was awesome! We're coming back for Thanksgiving so "our" bed is comfortable! ;-)

Relaxing Lake House

Awesome memory making with a long holiday weekend filled with good friends, family, boating, fishing, swimming. Definitely worth it to do your research ahead of time knowing what you plan on doing. Especially being on or close to major holidays. We brought our boat and house had perfect sized covered dock to drop it in. Free ramp not too far from house. There’s a few other ramps nearby but gets crowded on holidays. We got lucky. Great location, short canal just off Lake George. Awesome boating weather, went out to Silver Glen springs for all day fun n sun. House had everything needed for relaxing stay. Owners were communicative and kind. We love Ocala and Salt Springs. First time to Silver Glen. We’ll definitely be back. Thanks for sharing your home with us!

Quiet relaxation

Though the heat was oppressively dangerous, we thoroughly enjoyed our visit, and the limited time we were able to fish from the dock. Caught mullet (on a worm!), small mouth bass, catfish, and many many bream, from small to larger than hand size. We also had a frequent 3 foot alligator visitor, and a great blue heron who stopped by for some fish three times a day. Very relaxing. Look forward to the visit in October when we'll be able to use our boat.

Stay for Rockville

This property was a wonderful stay as it was was out far enough to get away but close enough to not be a hassle. It has nice scenery around and allows you to relax out in nature. The bed was super comfy too!
