Kauniisti kalustettu ja varustettu kaksi tarinaa Appalakkien hirsitalo sijaitsee yksityisellä 3+ hehtaarin metsäinen paljon lampi. Kivestä ja puusta aksentti, parketit, tuomiokirkon katot ja ulkouima-amme tilavalla kannella. Kolme kannet. Kolme makuuhuonetta parvella (3 queen beds, kerrossängyt ja 2 kaksoset) ja kolme täyttä kylpyammeet. Lapset leikkivät huoneesta, jossa on tv, lautapelejä ja kirjoja. Minuutin päässä Canaan Valley State Park & Ski Resortista ja Timberline-hiihtokeskuksesta. Järven etuoikeudet.

Working with MountainTop was great for all the initial logistics, however the cabin was not up to standards. The sinks and showers did not drain properly, there were no cleaning supplies for us to clean up after ourselves, not enough paper goods, and nothing was shoveled properly. It wasn't safe for one of our guests to navigate into the cabin. In addition to the lack of shoveling, there was dog poop on the steps and on the driveway. There was also an excessive amount of flies inside the cabin for this time of year.

Needs updated, beds are hard and small, pillows were flat and uncomfortable, dishwasher leaked, washing machine kept getting stuck mid cycle full of water, had a problem with flies, dirty blanket behind the couch, driveway is washed out. Potential is there just needing some love.

Nice cabin for the price

The cabin was beautiful. Peaceful and no close neighbors, which is what we were looking for. Access to the lakes made it fun because we brought kayaks and paddle boards. Overall, we had a nice trip. My only complaint was that the Timberline property management sprayed soy oil all over the roads to manage the dust and IT WAS A MESS! We brought two new vehicles on our trip and it caked oil and dirt on them both. Two weeks later, we are still trying to get it off! And our vehicles smell like French fries inside and out! Over all, I’d rent this cabin again though. Nice little spot.

Would definitely go back for another week

Love the privacy! Remember, this is a cabin in the woods so you can hear everybody throughout the house and there may be occasional mouse or ant. If you’re even just a little bit country, you’ll love this place.

Beautiful cabin

This cabin was so beautiful. Everything you need is there. It is close to many great places and our host was so awesome at answering all my questions when I asked. We had a very relaxing stay and enjoyed every minute of it. We will be back to this area again and stay with Mountaintop Realty again.

Beautiful home with access to the Dolly Sods Wilderness

This is a beautiful home in a gated community that has easy access to the complex network of trails located in the beautiful Dolly Sods Wilderness area. We were pleased to be able to park and access one of the head trails directly from within the gated community. The home itself is cosy and can accommodate large families. We really loved our time here.

Nice getaway in the mountains

Spacious and secluded spot in the mountains. Wish there was a little bit of flat land for some yard games, but it is the mountains after all. Would gladly stay there again for another family get together.

Beautiful rustic cabin!

Enjoyed the serenity the cabin had to offer tucked up in a wooded cabin community. I am a sucker for a traditional rustic cabin feel and this one definitely had it. It was close to the national parks, restaurants and ski mountain as well. The only down side was the owner should really put a reflector up in front of the pond when you drive into the property upon arrival at night. All four of our cars almost ended up driving straight into the pond when we arrived after dark. It is awkwardly located at the front of the drive way in a blind spot. Other than that we would definitely book this cabin again! Great weekend getaway :)

Repeat visitors

This is the second time we have stayed in this home. It is cozy and the kids love the upstairs loft area. Only problem is that there are no screens in any of the windows or doors, so can' t get fresh air without letting in lots of insects. Be sure to bring all supplies, not much included. All in all it is as advertised and a great relaxing getaway.

Great cabin experience

Pros: Great location. Hot tub star gazing was amazing. Layout of home worked great for two families. Cons: Railings and stairs not very safe for young folks. Overall was clean, but very dusty and cobwebby in spots, especially upstairs in the loft bedroom. Absolutely no sound proofing between rooms (can literally hear folks in other rooms roll over in their beds). Not knocking the place at all - we had a great time, but there were some things that could and/or should be improved.

House is great!

We rented the facility for 5 days. It was a good rental and the pond was great for the 2 kids to practice fishing. The only two things I will say is: the step out front really needs to be repaired. But you can get around it. The other thing- we were four people and although you could have 8 to 10 folks because of beds, It would be very tight!

Disappointed for overall cost

Overall we weren’t satisfied and left a day early. A few of the reasons were: Mold growing in bathroom shower Coffee pot was disgusting Spiderwebs throughout the home especially under kitchen cabinets Steps outside in need of repair and being held up by pieces of firewood. Beds were like sleeping on a slab of granite Felt “itchy” after sleeping in beds Damper on fireplace hanging down. Not sure if it’s functional or not. This isn’t the renters fault but only one place for take out and it was HORRIBLE. So we decided to cut our losses and head home to a clean shower/bed and our house in va. We will not be back. Sorry.

Lovely cabin in the woods

This property is beautiful and secluded. We enjoyed playing on the deck and in the woods with our grandchildren. It is very spacious inside and out. The kitchen has the bare minimum for cooking and cleaning - basically just salt and pepper, one roll of paper towels, one dishwashing pod, etc. - so pack everything you need. There is a convenience store on the main road for items you forgot. The area is lovely and the nearby town is charming.

Nice stay

Had a very good three nights here in the middle of August. The house is well positioned for hiking in Dolly Sods. House is in a gated community and there is park access within the community. The house was well equipped and set up for the four of us. One suggestion for the owner is to put screens on the doors. Without a/c the house got hot at times with only the windows open and resulted in us deciding whether to open the doors and let the bugs in or leave the house at a warmer temperature than we wanted.

Relaxing secluded getaway

This house is amazing! We loved it as soon as we walked in and smelled the pine. It was spacious for our family of 4. We were all able to have our own space when needed. We enjoyed the game room, the hot tub, sitting by the pond, all of the decks, the sound of the stream, lots of deer, butterflies and hummingbirds. Davis, West Virginia is a cute little town with a grocery store and some restaurants and stores. We did horse back riding in the area and walked the trails. It was our family's favorite vacation so far! We will definitely be back and would love to stay in the Dream Catcher again!

Perfect mountain cabin getaway for our family of 6 for Thanksgiving weekend enjoyed by all!

The second we drove up the driveway we were impressed by this amazing cabin. As impressive as the outside was, the inside was even more so. The fireplace and wood features gave it the perfect cabin feel. We were able to cook a Thanksgiving meal and enjoy it at the large table with seating for 8. The 3 bedrooms and loft gave us ample sleeping space. We loved the open feel of the cabin as well. We enjoyed each other’s company sitting around the fire playing board games which were provided in the game room upstairs and soaking in the hot tub on the deck. We also ventured out to see the beautiful waterfalls that were just a short drive from the cabin. All in all Our family had a wonderful experience in the Dreamcatcher cabin and hope to return.
