Beautiful historic hotel, we stayed 1 night with no ghostly encounters. Only gave a 3 star for comfort as bed pillows were huge & hard. It was like sleeping on a rock. Breakfast was great at Bully's located in the lounge area. We also took the ghost tour.,, wasn't too scary but great information about the hotel, would definitely stay here again, but would bring my own pillow.

Historic hotel in the heart of town. Unfortunately our room fronted the main Street and across from a bar.
V little sleep ...
Between noise and no decent window coverings. .....
Location is perfect though. Do not accept a room facing the main street ...
It was epic! Check-in was a breeze, staff was friendly, the hotel was in excellent condition, complimentary parking was available and offered for hotel guests, the room was spacious/clean/quiet, and the town was amazing. The casino attached to the hotel was open 24/7. There were ghost tours of the hotel after 5pm. There’s a restaurant attached to the hotel with a small menu. The town of Deadwood is amazing and full of history, shopping, dining, and sightseeing opportunities. A must stay!!
The hotel is a grand relic but could use some care...window casing are bare wood in places and the trim work was shabbily done. That was not the issue however, it was the lack of quality throughout, from the internal restaurant to the lack of clean sheets and pillow cases upon arrival. I guess if nobody complains then it must be ok. It did not feel like a classy gold rush hotel as it should.
Spacious room. Friendly and helpful staff. Excellent location for any activities taking place downtown. Super convenient to have a shuttle stop out front door.
We loved our stay at the historic bullock hotel! We stayed for 1 night, fair warning if you’re not into spooky stays it might not be for you but we had a blast! Plus if you do have a “ghostly” encounter they are nice, and just a bit curious :) staff was super friendly! And you drink for free if gambling! We loved our bartender and the breakfast was wonderful! Decent prices and a wonderful stay! Definitely worth a visit!
Our bed was a little on the firmer side but still worth it! And AC works!
We had and incredible time. You feel like you're transported back to 1900. The staff were super friendly and the room was spacious and clean. If you plan on staying in Deadwood then this is the place.
