$45 a day for parking on top of room cost was a disappointment Also, required to take one elevator between parking garage and lobby was a hassel. Once inside despite four elevators there was always a long wait for one.

Two-star hotel at four-star prices. First, the room: poor heating/cooling system. next the bathroom: the toilet was primitive, I sat on it and it sounded like ot would collapse. I've had better toilets in Zanzibar, Africa! Next, the shower. It was definitely unsafe. Very little to grab on to in case of slipping, especially with a slippery floor in the shower.. A nother matter was the jousekeeping. Same sheets all week and towel replacement twice in four days. Thrn there was the elevators: extremely slow, plus one time the elevator refused to stop at our floor (10) and we were stuck. All in all, except for the location and the breakfasts, this was a hotel with problems!

Loved the Whimsy!

This was a great, whimsical hotel and we loved it all! Everyone was friendly, parking was good, check in was quick and easy and we loved exploring all the different themes. It was a quick walk to 16th Street and had a lot of fun.

Good place to stay for a family, but…

This hotel is top notch when it comes to service, cleanliness, and location, BUT what I wasn’t prepared for was the cold showers our entire stay. I knew to expect the elevators being overused so the wait times were okay, but the cold showers were a definite turn off. I don’t know whether it was our room (which I found that hard to believe, which was why I didn’t say anything) or what, but I haven’t had to deal with that since basic training. I am glad I booked there because my 5 year old was super excited. They had books and board games to ensure she didn’t get bored, and the establishment was soooo kid friendly. On the fence on whether or not I’ll stay again.
