Unfortunately, the condo I initially selected had A/C issues that I did not find out about until I was almost there. Due to it being the same day I was supposed to start my stay, there was some difficulty in finding a nice replacement. However, RealJoy worked with me to find something appropriate and made sure I was well taken care of. They also stayed in contact to ensure I had everything I needed and that my stay was satisfactory. Overall, I was happy with my stay and I would recommend them.

Terrible. Beware! We tried so hard to make the best of this place, as it was our only summer vacation. Refrigerator constantly leaks water on floor (front finish bubbled up, not a new problem), ice maker froze up, does not dispense ice. You can’t buy/store a bag of ice because water pours over and turns it into a solid block. kitchen faucet pours water at base and floods counter when turned on. We had to use 2 of the precious few bath towels to contain the flood everyday. There was only 1 kitchen towel provided. Keurig coffee maker was broken.Living room couch cushions stained/stinky. Had to cover with a sheet. Master bath ceiling and shower covered in visible black mold. Master bed linen was a flat sheet and an empty duvet cover, no blanket. No guests allowed in exercise facility, owners only. Internet was out for 2/4 days, Roku stick had no cord, so no smart TV option for when internet did work. Upon checkout was notified that 5 pool pass bands were missing and needed to pay 50 each for a total of 250 extra charge. Only my husband and I stayed at this property and we did not go to the pool, never used the bands. I found a link on Amazon, 6 for 500 of these bands, why would you need to reuse them? This seemed like a scam to charge an extra 250 per rental. When Realjoy called me about extra charges, I mentioned the above issues with the rental. The response was “we will look into it” no offer of reimbursement for the multiple failures during our stay

Great views!

Great views of the bay and sunsets! Loved the large balcony, spent a lot of time on it. Condo was exactly as described in pictures. Access to balcony from main area, master bedroom, and 2nd bedroom was very nice. Kitchen was fully stocked. Pool area was nice and grills were conveniently close. Great family vacation!!!

Great family get away

Check in and check out easiest. Customer service ease to get hold of and were friendly. Only complaints was I didn’t have a broom and the beach access was a little further than expected but not bad at all. Felt like we have beaches to ourselves with out shark worry.

Great Place

We enjoyed our stay here! It was the perfect location for fishing, watching sea turtles, and the best seat in the house for sunset views over the water. We took the water taxi for a meal on the harbor, but it also wasn't a bad drive to get here either. It's a great spot.

Difficult time entering property, lock to unit not working properly. Had to call numerous times. Construction in park area took away from view, husband probably got bite 200 times by bed bugs. Had to call doctor it was so severe. Had to vacate property mid week. Never had a vacation ruined because of these circumstances. Staff response quick and were apologetic.

Stayed 4 days and AC went out the first night. Sent email to RealJoy vacations which has automated response they will respond within an hour. I didn’t receive any email response, which was interesting because I sent two email questions prior to vacation that were promptly answered. It was near 90 and nearly impossible to sleep. Called and found out they were aware of the issue and working on it. AC came back on about 7 pm the last night so was relieved to get sleep before driving back. But later that night AC out again so maybe got 2-3 hours of sleep. We had AC maybe 16 hours of the 4 days trip. I understand these things happen but to not receive any response is unacceptable. Also one of the two elevators were out the whole trip and tried to take grandson to pool was roped off and closed until we left. It had been open the first day. The trip was to visit my daughter and grandson in military before they move overseas. They had to sit in the car with AC on to eat dinner and get a little sleep. Sent another email after returning and 4 days later still no response. I would be cautious if you are staying there.

Cozy Beachfront Condo

The property was spacious and roomy. It was clean and felt comfortable. The balcony was our favorite! Great view of the bay. Location is convenient to beach, but a bit ways from stores and activities. There was an issue with the guest shower, but maintenance followed very quickly and resolved the issue. One small suggestion would be a fresh coat of paint and beach accessories for guests. Our stay was great! We will definitely be back again!

Unique Building

Location had both pros and cons great location for morning walk on sidewalks and to beach area but not convenient to walk to any stores or night life. Pool was nice but small and no seats available in prime time. The property manager was always available for questions and vary pleasant.

Abosolutely wonderful!

Loved the views! The location was great with water on both sides. The property was neat, clean, roomy, and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked. The beds were comfortable. The primary bathroom shower was huge! Loved having sliding doors from all the rooms to go out on the balcony. The balcony furniture was a huge plus and very comfortable. Plenty of towels and linens. Would definitely stay here again. I can't say enough good things about it!

The condo view of the bay was very nice, and the condo was well supplied. When i had any question, the answer came in a timely manner. Our request for more hand towels and wash cloths was fulfilled quickly. Help was sent promply when we needed help with the TV. Thank you very much!

This property is a beautiful! From the wonderful balcony to the cleanliness of everything! Comfy beds, wonderful kitchen and fabulous bedrooms! Very well kept!! We will be back!

Review

Renting the property was super easy. The communication between RealJoy properties was easy and if I had any questions their response was quick. The view/beach was gorgeous and the location of East Pass Towers is perfect. We will definitely be back again!

Amazing location

I have always wanted to stay on the Destin pass and it did not disappoint. The snorkle areas were great. Our unit was absolutely wonderful - zero complaints.

Mold

Among arriving in the room the smell knocked you down. There was so much black mold in vents and ceilings we called to tree y get another room but no luck being Labor Day weekend so they had a guy come clean ceilings and spray kiltz which just hid the problem the couches was sticky and very nasty they cleaned them as well the staff was helpful and the location and views are Ana big hope the get it resolved soon cause we all had nose bleeds from the odor in the condo.

Nice view, decent location

If cleanliness is not a priority this might be the place for you! It was not the best kept or well kept at all. Had a musty odor, bathrooms were old and out dated, dirty, moldy. The best part was the balcony but it was also very dirty. On our check in instructions, gave us the wrong code for the elevator so we couldn't even get to the condo. Finally get to the condo and the master shower was literally sealed shut with a rubber seal so that you couldn't use it. The laundry door handle was broken off and sitting inside the laundry closet. Several different codes to remember to get in and out and around the property, hot tub broken, elevator issues. Destin itself was great and we enjoyed so much time not at the condo that we made it work, but definitely would not rent again or recommend to a friend or family. We will try a new place next time.

Continual Issues but helpful/friendly staff

My family of four stayed in condo 208 for 6 nights. Continual issues throughout the stay that I really didn’t want to deal with on vacation- many of which was unavoidable and could not have been foreseen but some updates to the property at large may help. I’ll start with the kitchen which was fantastic. Loved the upgrade and cleanliness. Very well stocked for cooking in the condo. The views of the harbor were fantastic. Loved watching the boats go in and out. Loved hearing the music from he harborwalk. This may be a downside to some but not us. I don’t like that it’s on sea wall and that you have to walk over to the beach area for actual swimming & play but that was expected from the description. The public beach area close by was fantastic but not great for night time and early morning shell hunts- nothing to do with the condo though. Water pressure was good. Sinks in bathroom were cute. Plenty of sleeping space but the bed were uncomfortable. Very lumpy, really needs replaced. Two of the bathroom sink are super low at draining, one of them in the master, we had to hold the plug up to drain. Dryer was not working well, then stopped working altogether. Maintenance came fairly quickly and wa able to reset it. I saw in some other reviews that the dryer didn’t work well for them either. The AC- oh my goodness. So they ask you to not go below 70 anyways which for u sis already too hot for sleeping however it stopped working one day. Just kept getting hotter and hotter, ended up calling about it because we ended up at 79 degrees and it was time for bed. Apparently a water line broke and everyone in our tower was out. We ended up walking the beach for a breeze when we got back it was finally on and down to 75. It never cooled all the way down to 70 that night then the next day we had to shut off the air while they worked on it again. It was miserable especially with two young kids. The master bedroom stayed hotter than the rest of the condo on a regular basis which was not great for sleeping.
