We waited in the sun for 1 1/2 hours for a van to pick us up from the airport. We had it prearranged prior to the trip.we called multiple times for the shuttle to pick us up. It was one of the reasons we stayed at your hotel. We are aged 76 and 78, standing for that period of time. Very tired and dehydrated. Had to call an Uber.

The staff was very courteous. However, the room (and even the corridor) smelled like moisture or mildew. I know humidity is very high in Fort Lauderdale, but something is seriously off when the musty smell is that strong. One is hit in the face with the smell as soon as you stepped off the elevator. Also, the mattress was way too soft (extremely soft), so I have back problems this morning. The location worked out well, and the breakfast was fine, the only problems were the moldy smell and the soft mattress.

Clean room. Good wi-fi. Friendly staff. Check out was quick but I found it interesting that guests need to see someone in person to check out. Other hotels let you drop the key in the box or leave in the room. Any extra charges go on your credit card. Why the in person checkout?

Great proximity to airport and cruise port. The hotel shuttle does charge a fee which is per person so if you are more than one person in your group, it’s cheaper to take a taxi or uber. $15US with tip included to airport, a bit less to cruise port. The hotel was great but if you are on the street side, it is very loud. We moved to parking lot side which was very quiet.

The rooms need to be updated specially the carpeting. The breakfast buffet was a continental one which should have been free not $18! The airport shuttle was a joke because it was 11 pm he was not taking any more passagengers but because we were there already driver gave us a lift with my husband standing awkwardly and my 10 year old on my lap. Driver acted like he was doing us a favor! Not very professional. This hotel is part of Marriott not a Marriott at all.
