The staff was excellent checking it was perfect the lady at the front desk. I cannot remember her name, but she was great. I went back later and asked for towels and the gentleman was awesome and good communication I would stay again.

Definitely run down and dingy. Was ok for one night, but the pullout sofa bed was completely broken and couldn’t be used, and the overall feel was just not super clean and welcoming.

We arriving early at 10:30 AM on a Sunday because we had to change our flight to avoid delays due to storms. The staff was slammed with people getting off cruise ships and staying the night to catch a flight the next day or people like us that flew in early and the lobby was packed with people waiting to catch the shuttle to the cruise port. The person at the desk was visibly stressed out but was still very professional and courteous. They took our luggage, gave us the information for the WIFI and recommend Slackers Bar and Grill across the street for meals and to wait. This was a great recommendation. The service, food and atmosphere were very good. The only drawback is that you have to cross a busy intersection without a crosswalk. This wasn’t impossible but still a challenge. We ended up spending about an hour in the lobby after lunch waiting for a room but this wasn’t so bad because the lobby had cleared out more from the people heading out on a cruise. The one bad thing was that the bathrooms required a key card, so if you wanted to use the bathroom you had to get someone from the staff to let you in. It was raining when we were there but access to the pool also required a key card. Everything went smooth for getting a room and our luggage once they had ones available. The room was very nice and clean and the morning breakfast typical of a Holiday Inn Express. We would use this hotel again.
