Misrepresented, apparently this is a room within a shared house with other what appeared to be roommates. Walked in to group of people in the room. Place is in a back alley feeling sketchy by railroad tracks. Not ideal for family or a couples stay. I don’t recommend.

Tv would not get channels but there was a remote contol in my room and when asked if someone could fix it i was told even though all others rooms were working that it did not work. Bad . It was freezing out and my room had no heat and system that was on the wall looked as if it melted.

I got there and called the host and they took forever to answer. A random person came and opened the door for me but he wasn’t the host. Then when I finally got into the room, the A/C wasn’t working. I contacted the host about this and he said he would send someone in 40 minutes. I wanted and then ended up just leaving. Then the host refused a refund and it was $226!! it doesn’t look like it does in the photos. It’s not very clean. Do not stay here

Arrived at the property and there was no one there to greet us. I tried emailing the host and received no reply. I tried ringing the number on the confirmation email and no reply. A man who was there (another guest) showed us how to get in but we did not have a room for us. The man then spoke to someone who said they did not have a booking for us in their system despite us having paid and received a confirmation email. Also, the property was very run down and looked like a hostel for down and outs. In the end we decided to book a room at a motel nearby instead. I shall be complaining and looking for a refund.

The only real problem I have with this day is that it is listed as apartments and the pictures are a little misleading. This is more like a hostile with your individual room. You have a shared kitchen and dining room. There is no living room. The refrigerator is is community shared also. Even though the air conditioning did not work in my room, it does work in the common areas which does cool. I didn’t really mind this as it was chilly outside and with the concrete block walls, it was more than enough for the numerous blankets in the attic touches of your own folded towels, and extra blanket within the room. The door in room one is a little weird. But each door has its own individual key pad entry lock. Don’t expect to go walking outside in the neighborhood as it is not in the best neighborhood. The host are hard to get a hold of prior to your stay as the Only will release that your entry code hours before you get there. This was fine with me, but I would appreciate it a return text or email stating such so I didn’t have to constantly contact them to ensure that I had a reservation as I’m coming from a different area as most of us are.

We paid for a room with 2 beds, we got a closet with one bed. We ask to change rooms. We ended up getting a room with the same bed just a bigger room so it did nothing for what we wanted. It was freezing in the room. I know you can't control the weather but the owners knew that is was going to be cold. There should have been space heaters or at least extra blankets provided. There were none. Another couple came to same day and paid for a room with a double bed because there were 2 of them. They got a single bed. They were also told there was a person at a front desk which is not the case. These people lie to their customers and do nothing properly to fix the problems. Never again.

Messaged the property several times with no response. Contacted expedia and they also could not contact the property so I booked another stay. Expedia was supposed to cancel this booking, but once again couldn't get in touch with the property. I definitely wouldn't take the chance of staying at this property.

First of all it was dump with a for sale sign out front and vehicles all over the property. I found the phone number and a hispanic man answered so I questioned him if that was the property called La Mare and he said yes. I told him it looked like s dump and I wasn’t going to stay there . He said they are remodeling so I could cancel so I did and he assured me I wouldn’t get charged! My first and last time booking through hotels.com ! Then we had. i drive stone looking for another place and will be staying there again
