Welcome to the Flamingo House, located at 57 Flamingo St, Fort Myers Beach, FL 33931. This beautiful elevated ranch-style home has been lovingly restored and is now available for your next vacation. Located just 50 yards from the softest, widest sand on Fort Myers Beach, this home is the perfect getaway for up to six guests. Whether you’re here to relax, swim with dolphins, or explore the vibrant local area, the Flamingo House has it all.

This home features 3 bedrooms (King, Queen, and 2 Full Beds) and 2 full bathrooms on the living level, making it ideal for families or small groups. An in-ground, screened pool offers a private oasis for cooling off and relaxing (please note, a pool energy fee applies). The home sleeps a maximum of 6 adults/children, with no exceptions.

The Flamingo House is conveniently located on the beachside of Estero Blvd, easy distances to restaurants, shops. and  a full-sized Publix grocery store is just a mile away. The Fort Myers Beach Trolley provides easy access to Times Square, less than 4 miles away, where you can enjoy shopping, live street performances, casino boat rides, and live music at beachside taverns that are gradually coming back for all to enjoy after 2 long years of hurricane recovery.

This beachside haven is known as “the safest beach in Florida” and offers an array of activities, including swimming with dolphins and manatees, shelling, sand dollar hunting, charter boat trips, jet ski rentals, and parasailing. For additional fun, you’ll find a golf courses within a 20 min ride, local library, Margaritaville water park,  Nearby attractions include museums, the Naples Zoo, Tin City, The Shell Factory, and Everglades airboat tours.

Weekly or longer stays are required, with extended stays (January through April) subject to biweekly cleaning in addition to the departure clean. Great location, great amenities, great house. Couldn't have asked for more in our stay. Property managers were super-welcoming and responsive to any needs or questions, and provided great info about the surrounding area. Highly recommended. Great for families. 2 min walk to the gorgeous white-sand beach; 5 min drive for groceries; numerous great dining options within 10-15 min.

Amazing stay!!!

The house was wonderful!! It was very clean and well equipped. The pool was great and proximity to the gulf was amazing!! The location was ideal. perfect place

Could not be more happy with the home. Very clean, very nice in every aspect. pool was awesome, plenty of toys and beach things to use plus bikes. kitchen was well stocked with utensils and cookware which was great. location to beach is just a couple minutes walk. Best place my family has rented on FMB, love it would rent again in a heartbeat.

Flamingo House

We had a beautiful Thanksgiving stay. The house was just as advertised. The heated pool was a big draw for my grandsons (8 & 11) as was the short distant to the beach. The house was wonderful.

Wonderful place for a family vacation

Property was exactly as described in the listing. We were a family of 8, Grandma and Grandpa, Mom and Dad and 4 kids aged 3 to 13. Have to say it was the cleanest VRBO rental we’ve ever stayed in. Kitchen was well stocked, enough bath towels for all 8 of us, plus enough beach towels. A lot of beach toys provided, Easy 2 minute walk to the beach. Easy drive to Times Square and all attractions, Helen was wonderful, quick response to all questions. Definitely recommend this property.

This home has everything. Steps from the beach, clean, comfortable, perfectly decorated, everything you need for the beach!!! The pictures are stunning on here, but even better in person. Everything was easy. Far enough away from the crowds, but close enough to the fun if wanted. The north part of the beach was crowded, but you would never know it from our access to the beach. For us this was perfect. The beach is beautiful, and the sunsets are a must. I highly recommend this property.

Fabulous flamingo house

This house exceeded our expectations in so many ways! From booking, communications with owners/property management, to enjoying this beautiful home with incredible space (so much bigger than pictures show) for 6 adults and 2 children. We cooked most meals and had plenty of cooking wear, appliances and serving dishes. The huge refrigerator in kitchen and extra in garage were so helpful. The water was great for drinking...nice plus to not have to buy bottled water. Can’t say enough about the pool and proximity to beach. The house is stocked with plenty of toys , chairs, and beach towels for both. We switched from beach to pool multiple times a day with kept all of us entertained! We all agreed we will stay here anytime we visit FMB.😁

Relaxing house right by the beach

This is one of those rare listings where the property looks better in person than on the pictures. The house is the third from the beach, which was very convenient with an infant. We also appreciated that there were many child-friendly items: pack and okay, beach stroller, pool floaties and toys. Everything was clean, the kitchen well equipped, and the space ample for two families with children. The owner was very accommodating when there was a possibility that we would have to extend our stay due to a winter storm at home. Great communication throughout.

Nice Home with pool!

This was a very nice home with a short walk to the beach walkway, just 3 houses past this one from the beach! Nice neighborhood, house has everything you need and the private pool was awesome! I would definitely stay again if in the area!

Everything about the listing was spot on and the property was perfect for us! A short walk to the expansive, flat beach was very enjoyable. Coming back to a heated pool was the perfect way to end the day before heading back to the beach for the amazing sunsets! My family loved this place and we are already looking forward to next year!!!

The Flamingo house is pretty near perfect! Bright, clean, 30 seconds to an amazing beach and all the amenities you would need. Our was a golf trip so we had a car to run about. Helen and Thaddeus are wonderful and quick to respond to any tiny issue. As a cook I would have liked some sharper knives but the kitchen is otherwise well equipped and if I was the owner I wouldn’t be leaving good knives either lol! Can’t go wrong with this place. Thank you!

OUTSTANDING PROPERTY and Property Managers!!!!!!

if you want an OUTSTANDING property, experience, location and property managers, YOU SIMPLY MUST visit and stay in 57 Flamingo Street on Fort Myers Beach, FL. This was our first choice for spring break 2019 with our large family and IT IS AMAZING!!!!. We have stayed at multiple Florida and other rentals and our large group agreed this is ONE OF THE BEST WE'VE EVER VISITED!!!! Super detailed cleaning, great facility, beautiful location, superb pool and kitchen. WE LOVED IT AND WOULD LOVE TO GO BACK! HIGHLY Recommended for your family or group. Helen and Thaddeus are the local property managers and SUPER responsive and available. Great Job and SO HIGHLY recommended. We had never rented from them before but we will definitely look for any of their properties in the future. YOU CANNOT go wrong with this rental agency. Keep up the great work, Helen and Thaddeus. Any owner would be FORTUNATE to have you manage their rentals on FMB! Keep up the great work! Guests - you want to be right where this rental is - on southern end of FMB/estero island because it's got AWESOME wide white sugar sand beaches without all the crazy commotion and busy-ness of the north end tourist zany situation. DEFINITELY rent this place, enjoy the all newly redone home, great pool and Lanai, beautiful beaches and neighborhoods for walking and lots of great restaurants and places to go out. Also this south end location allows you to avoid all the crazy traffic of the north end and easily come and go from the island via Bonita Beach area. Better Than Expected Multifamily Trip April 2019

The management was very helpful and easy to deal with although we didn't have any problems at all. The house had a big kitchen with very nice appliances and all kinds of cooking equipment. There is plenty of parking as there is a parking pad that will easily accommodate 4 cars plus a spot in the garage and a parking area in front of the garage. The pool area did have 6 chairs and was easy to access from the back stairwell off of the family room or from the front stairs to the pool. There were 2 bikes to ride and the handlebars are on correctly now. I did not find the lock complicated at all, in fact it was nice to enter a code instead of carrying a key around which also came in handy as different people could come & go at their leisure. The garage is very large and dry and has a door to the pool. There is also a full bathroom in the garage area and a fridge that will come in handy when enjoying the pool area. We went during Spring Break time and the beach was not crowded at all and didn't see a bunch of disorderly kids. There are restaurants in the area to eat at but there is not really any fast food around at all. This house was a great place to stay that was away from the traffic and you can take a sort walk to the beach blindfolded that it is so close.

1/2 The property at 57 Flamingo was a great vacation home for our family of six.

1/2-I look at two categories when traveling with the kids: Did the 1) location/access and 2) facility allow for a terrific vacation experience? This property fit the mold very well. Location: Perfect location. Close to bars and restaurants on Mid Island which were family friendly, but still cool enough for my wife and I to grab drinks. Close enough to North Island to access all the shops, restaurants, the pier, etc. Close enough to the South to access the parks and get around the traffic of North Island to access Hammond Field and Jet Blue Park easily. Close enough to the beach so we could access the house easily for snacks, drinks and restroom stops. Facility: I’ll start with a few improvements that can be made. First, the cable didn’t work appropriately in the third bedroom. The remote could increase/decrease the volume but did nothing else. I could’ve worked on it, but I’m on vacation. Last thing I want to do is deal with issues. Easy fix. Second, accessing the pool was clumsy. You had to go through the garage using the garage door remote. The other option was to use a key to lock and unlock the pool screen doors. We didn’t find those keys until halfway through the week. The access to the basement is locked off. That would have made life a whole lot easier. I imagine cleaning supplies, security system, the owner’s personal belongings are in the inaccessible areas, but improving this is a must. Third, they could use an upgrade on the amenities. One of the bikes handlebars were installed backwards, the breaks barely worked, and the grips were barely on. The pool chairs were ripped and rusty, but worked. The beach umbrella didn’t function. The beach cart was broken with a wheel that fell off. There was no deck umbrella. It would have been nice to sit on the deck with shade after a good burn. Next, limited privacy. I don’t care about the foot traffic, but if you do, there were always a lot of people walking by during the day. They were very friendly. A privacy fence could help. Lastly, and most importantly, the door lock is an issue. The lock doesn’t work easily or consistently. It caused major delays with leaving for the beach, lunch, dinner, etc. It was probably user error, but I’m a sensible and handy person and this became annoying and avoidable. The management team was very responsive with how to access the house, but the workaround was inconvenient. All easy fixes and none of which would change our mind on returning to this property.

New house just steps from a beautiful beach

We stayed for a week at Flamingo House and had a fabulous time with the extended family. The house is a short walk to a beautiful beach, where we enjoyed swimming, sunsets, beach combing, and observing wildlife, including pelicans and dolphins. The neighborhood includes large condo complexes but the beach was never crowded, even when it was sunny and 85! We also enjoyed the small enclosed heated pool at the house. The house itself is new,with state of the art high end appliances and good air conditioning. We used the heavy duty washer and dryer daily. The Samsung range was ideal for preparing meals and the kitchen was well equipped. When we arrived, I was pleased to see dark quilted covers on the white leather living room furniture, making it beach friendly. A few notes of caution. The house has a nice deck, but it's overlooks a small hotel to the east and a rental home to the west, where we could overhear conversations- so it was not very private. The house is elevated, so that you need to take stairs to get in and out. The house is located in the middle of Estero Island - and the traffic on Estero, the main street, can be heavy, especially going north but we had groceries delivered from Publix using Instacart and avoided the traffic jams. There is a shopping center a 5 min drive/ 15 minute walk south on Estero where we bought delicious fresh fruits and produce from a farm stand, as well beach apparel and some nice wines. We had a wonderful time and hope to return.

Flamingo House

We all enjoyed our stay at Flamigo House. It was exactly what we were expecting, all very clean and had everything we needed for a relaxing week. The managers were available for any needs we had. We also loved that we could walk to the theater, dinner and church.No view of the beach but a very short walk. Will consider this rental in the future.
