The communities of Fuhlendorf and Bodstedt are very idyllically located on the southern Bodden coast. In the warmer season, passenger ships travel daily from Bodstedt to the Darß peninsula to Born and further through the Neuendorfer Bülten to Ahrenshoop-Althagen.
