Relax and reset in the historic village of Caviano, a 3-minute drive from the Italian border and a 15-minute walk from the lake shore.
Perched on a hillside, this peaceful escape sleeps 3 guests and enjoys incredible views of the mountains and Lake Maggiore. Perfect for travellers seeking both relaxation and adventure, this tranquil retreat is also in easy reach of larger towns including Locarno and Ascona.
Arranged over the first and second floors of a three-story building, the apartment features a cosy living space furnished with a dining table and a sofa. A small balcony with views over the lake provides the ideal spot for an evening aperitif or breakfast, and the separate kitchen is equipped with a ‘drip’ coffee machine, an oven, a cooker hob, and a fridge freezer.

Ideally located for historical exploration, Casa Patrizia is a quick 6-minute drive from Gerra’s ferry terminal. Here, visitors can take a boat cruise to explore the exotic Brissago Islands. There’s also a 15-minute ferry service to Ascona with its boutique shops, art galleries and fine dining, and Locarno, famous for its Piazza Grande, film festival and the Madonna del Sasso Sanctuary.
On sunny days, visitors can head to Lido de Gerra (a 5-minute drive) with showers and changing rooms or the beautiful Lido Vira Gambarogno at Shaka Beach (a 10-minute drive), which is equipped with outdoor activities and restaurants. Another popular excursion is a trip to the Gambarogno Botanical Park, a 15-minute drive away.
