To be honest, I hesitated giving 4 star, as it's a very basic hotel, no amenities, no lift (if u carry heavy luggage, good luck) or fancy facilities. Plus the person that checked me in gave me a room that was going to undergo a 3-day renovation (with drilling!) in the next few days, without telling me. Hey, I was going to stay there for 7 days! The room he gave me was smaller than what I saw in the pics (narrow walkway between bed and TV wall, plus queen bed only) and I was really upset when the drilling happened. And he was neither smiley, friendly, nor helpful. I wonder why was he even in hospitality line. Thankfully, Sai, another staff whom I reached out to, gave me superb service recovery. He switched me to another room away from the renovation, and was also sized similar to most pictures I'd seen (decent space between King bed and TV wall). It's because of him and this service recovery that made me finally decided to give 4 star from my initial intent of only 1 star! It could have been 3, perhaps. I would say I'll be kind and round it up to 4 just because of Sai. But personally, I probably wouldn't book this hotel again. Will give some other places a try.

The hotel staff were very friendly and very helpful and I would give 5 stars to them. The aircon was not cold enough even after setting 16C and strongest blower. A single card was provided so the electricity would cutoff when we left the room. Location was ok

Lovely hotel in good location

Location excellent for walking around and exploring. Room was huge and lovely - only problem is the rather steep stairs up to the room if you choose a twin bed room. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Pleasant stay at this charming heritage hotel. Like the cleaniness, friendly staff and decor of this heritage hotel. Location is good for exploring Georgetown’s street food scene. A small minus is hotel has no lift. So ask for ground floor room if you have heavy luggage.
